28/07/2024: J'ai demande a l'agent a l'hotel un adresse pour dejeuner dans le quartier. On m'a recommende Le Cafe Du Peintre. C'est un bouchon lyonnais connue. J'ai pris le menu de midi--tomates en des avec fines herbes et oignons, et un parmentier de lapin a l'estragon comme plat principal. Tres correct. Comme dessert j'ai pris des peches poche avec de la glace. Delicieux. J'espere revisiter.

We had lunch with 4 colleagues. All dishes were delicious. The crispy veal head is the best I've ever eaten. Efficient service.
I will come back without hesitation.

We went from a gourmet restaurant where you had to make a reservation. Today it was deserted with a heavy atmosphere and the food was ok...
Too bad it's sad
27/10/2024: I had the opportunity to have lunch at La Table de Nicolas yesterday by chance. A very pretty and pleasant place, tastefully decorated. Warm service, very friendly staff. The products were of good quality, excellent presentation of the dishes and good control of flavors.
Reasonable prices and fast service.
I highly recommend this restaurant!

14/09/2024: Excellent ice cream, homemade. Very generous portion just for €3 with cone, delicious wafer. I even bought 500gr for the house. Their praline will receive nothing but praise.

02/09/2024: Coming at 6 to have breakfast, two of us opted for the continental breakfast (either English).
Forget England, the bacon is round came directly from Lidl or others, the squeezed orange juice... Maybe.....
Everything is brought to you cold, no flavors, super disappointing...
I was with a person who knows this establishment well so I don't doubt the qualities of an ice cream parlor but for the breakfast it is distressing...

The kitchen team is very motivated and when the plates are brought to you, you know what true professionals who are passionate about their job are capable of. A few minor service errors in terms of synchronization but that's a detail compared to the special moments offered by this restaurant

Logis Auberge D'aranc

29/08/2024: We came as a family to spend two days there in August and are only waiting for one thing: to come back for Christmas!
5 points to remember
1. First of all, the Auberge d'Aranc is one of the rare establishments that can accommodate families with more than two children! A double bedroom with a bedroom with two real bunk beds can accommodate a family with 4 children in good conditions. All at very competitive prices. The rooms are fairly standard but a good size and clean. At this price the value for money is very good.
2. Then the situation: a very quiet village. The hotel is right opposite a charming church (unfortunately closed but this is more and more the case. It's a shame) and from the windows you can see the countryside. It's really charming. We feel good there.
3. We eat very well there! excellent gratin dauphinois with chanterelles, tasty meat, well-stocked breakfast! There are also children's menus and the cook adapts to requests.
4. The boss and the rest of the team have a sense of service (this is really becoming more and more rare!)
5. there seem to be a lot of leisure activities nearby, including a very good treetop adventure course, a real goat farm where you can milk milk and then buy excellent cheeses.

07/07/2024: Une auberge au coeur d'un petit village du bugey a 10km de A40, un très bon moment passé dans un établissement de qualité.
Chambre spacieuse et propre bien équipée.
Quand à la restauration, que des produits frais et maison, une très belle carte ou menus à des prix très convenables.
Ne passez pas à côté, allez y vous ne serez pas déçus
