06/04/2026: Brasserie and pizzeria. The portions are generous; the roasted Camembert with summer truffle is a delight, and the thin-crust pizzas are bigger than the plate. A very friendly place with smiling service. A simple yet effective spot!

01/06/2026: We just finished an extremely nice lunch at Mets Saisons. It was a delicious change of pace. For a very reasonable €12,50 I got the salmon tart with sorrel and spinach. It reminded me of spanakopita with a lemony-salmon influence. The plate came with sides of super fresh gazpacho, a green salad w a distinct mustard-sesame flavor and a mildly curry influenced couscous. All excellent! My husband’s chorizo-chard tart was excellent too. We ate outdoors in the lovely plaza shaded by Tilia trees.

02/05/2026: We went to this place as a family in May 2024, quite by chance. It became one of the warmest memories of our entire trip through different cities. That's why I looked it up, and thanks to AI, my daughter found it! It was quite late, and we were returning from a long day of exploring Paris. The owner greeted us very kindly and said he could make us some sandwiches and coffee. The lady, I think her name was Marie, was waiting for him, sitting at a table next to us with some onion soup, I believe. It was all so charming! And there was a photo of him as a young man with a model, taken at the bar. It was magical to experience that moment, that more everyday reality of such a vast city.

09/06/2026: The guy was was obviously short staffed so decided to deal with it by avoiding eye contact with the customers Main course took an hour to arrive 40 minutes after finishing, the main course remained on our table. I caught his eye but 5 minutes later still there Despite having a third course included in the set menu I gave up and just paid the bill. No apology offered, no suggesting of knocking off the cost of the third course Food that we had was okay. You don’t come to the Cevennes for a culinary experience.

09/05/2026: Semi-gastronomic restaurant. Don't order the butcher's cut. Instead of a thick, well-seared piece of beef, you'll get a tough, undercooked steak. The rest is decent. The price is outrageous for a small village.

31/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome, the service was excellent, and the servers were very kind and attentive. We came to try the brunch, and it was truly fantastic; the products were fresh. Thank you!

17/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. We initially went there for brunch, but upon discovering the prices—especially €8 for a fried or scrambled egg—we found it truly excessive and unjustified. We should have checked the menu before coming. So we chose other dishes. I ordered a burrata that wasn't creamy at all, served with a Thai peanut sauce… a sauce I couldn't taste at all. The tomatoes and avocado were bland and underripe, and the portion was very small: it was more like an appetizer than a proper main course. €16 for an appetizer is also a bit steep. It's the first time I've ever left a restaurant still hungry… My partner chose a "revisited" bo bun—or at least that's what we thought, judging by the dish, which was far from a REAL bo bun. Only the beef seemed to be seasoned; The rice vermicelli and the rest of the dish were clearly lacking in flavor. In the end, we felt that more attention had been paid to seasoning the water carafes (which tasted like cucumber) than the food on the plates.

23/06/2026: I booked the room through Booking.com. Small but clean room, poor ventilation in high temperatures. No drinks available when the restaurant is closed. Breakfast is self-service and basic: coffee, tea, juice, water, toast, and various pre-packaged jams. So, not a buffet in the traditional sense. Okay for the price, if you don't have high expectations based on the reviews, hence only 3 stars from me.

31/05/2026: A warm welcome, comfortable room, and excellent dinner. As for the much-maligned breakfast, the concept is perfect: available at any time without disturbing anyone. Bread, butter, honey, jam, coffee, and milk are all provided. It's obviously not the breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon only available from 8 a.m. on weekends, but it has the merit of being comprehensive.

06/06/2026: Excellent welcome, very friendly staff and management, and the Mother's Day meal was superb. No complaints whatsoever. And our waiter, Matei, was very pleasant.
