Don't be fooled by the concept of the dishes, because LA French serves dishes others describe as fast food, but in the way this food has been prepared, engineered, and cared for there is nothing "fast" about the quality, craft, and care that is put in the preparation of your food or the service provided.
The Menu is dynamic, changes regularly and the desserts are pure in-house made bliss. Bravo to Ali and the team.

The setting is warm, and despite a full room, it wasn't noisy.
The dishes are very good and plentiful, the croziflette was a treat!!
The ice cream is excellent.
The service is top-notch, with a complimentary digestif at the end of the meal.
A truly excellent restaurant!

The service was a little slow and disorganized (it's the beginning of the season, and the restaurant was full).

07/09/2025: This little gem of a restaurant in the pretty village of St Jean de Cole is friendly, inexpensive, with great food! One of the waiters is originally from UK so no problem if, like us, you have limited or no French. We spent a lovely Sunday afternoon here. As we had already eaten a big breakfast and weren'tparticularly hungry, we shared a grande salad vegetarienne and an assiete de fromage. All local cheeses. Great food, lovely staff. We will be back tomorrow!

for tourists (without being a canteen) because the cuisine is of good quality overall, the young waitresses and waiters are charming and very pleasant; there is a very good atmosphere there.
