24/01/2026: A superb discovery! The atmosphere is incredibly warm, with authentic bistro decor where you immediately feel at home. As for the food, it was simply excellent. You can tell everything is fresh and homemade, with a menu that changes according to what's available. 🤌 The pumpkin soup: smooth and perfectly seasoned! 🫶 The pollock fillet with potatoes and leeks was very delicate and cooked to perfection. The welcome and service were very pleasant; I highly recommend it. Thank you for this wonderful experience; I thoroughly enjoyed it!

14/02/2026: My husband and I just had a wonderful time celebrating Valentine's Day and our 29th wedding anniversary. The owner was incredibly welcoming and a fantastic cook, his wife was so friendly, attentive, and always smiling, and the young waiter was just as wonderful. The menu was perfect, original, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Extremely creative for events, yesterday's was fantastic 🤩 a tasting of several vintages of Mon Père's wine, the hidden gem of Salies! A real treasure ✨

14/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at Crêperie Saint-Pierre in Saumur. The charming couple, Margaux and Nicolas, welcomed us with great warmth and kindness. The crêpes are creative, generous, and of excellent quality—a real treat! I highly recommend discovering this crêperie and sharing a pleasant moment with Margaux and Nicolas.

14/02/2026: So seriously, we arrive, we look at the plate that's been served to the neighbors, we think, 'This is going to be good, it's going to be really good,' so a very favorable review, more than that, 3 + 4 + 5, well, in short, try it honestly, you won't be disappointed

02/01/2026: We've been to this place three times for a drink. By the way, the mulled wine is excellent. The waiter is incredibly friendly, and you feel really comfortable in this place with its warm and original decor.

27/02/2026: A really nice place, the old building adds to its charm. The galettes and crêpes are good. A word of warning to big eaters: you'll need two galettes to feel full. The service is quick and attentive. I recommend it ;)

24/02/2026: The meal was standard and perfectly adequate. However, the welcome was rather cold upon our arrival and there was no special attention paid to our child (such as a booster seat).

22/02/2026: We usually love this restaurant, with its friendly staff, but the new tapas-style menu is too expensive for the portion sizes. The food is still delicious, no doubt, but the dish really deserves to be more substantial, even just the side dishes, considering the price (44 euros for the lobster – a portion equivalent to a starter, not a main course). It's a shame because it doesn't make us want to come back.

21/06/2025: A very nice evening this Saturday, June 20, 2025, accompanied by my 3 colleagues. The menu is varied. The dishes are very, very generous. The plates are elegantly presented. The food is fresh. We were able to enjoy the outdoor terrace, which is cozy and quiet. The waitresses are very discreet and helpful. Right up until the end, when we spoke with the gentleman to pay, we were not disappointed. I recommend it 💯%.

28/01/2026: We decided to have lunch at Stéphane Carbone's restaurant to enjoy a warm family moment celebrating my young son's birthday, as he had always dreamed of discovering fine dining. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome, and I was delighted to see Stéphane Carbone make my son his VIP guest for the day. It was an exceptional gesture, especially considering my son was just a little boy about to experience fine cuisine. There was so much emotion, so much attention, so much delicacy, and a genuine passion for sharing his taste for excellence, as he sat watching the kitchen brigade at work. Beyond simply being in an exceptional restaurant, we met a chef with a big heart and boundless kindness. A truly remarkable man who undoubtedly made this moment unforgettable, as my son clearly understood the special attention he received. I highly recommend experiencing this exceptional restaurant, knowing that its host is a man of true human values.

04/02/2026: A very warm welcome, helpful and professional staff: you immediately feel at ease. The place is cozy, perfect for fully enjoying your meal. We sampled the entire menu from appetizer to dessert… and not a single flaw! Delicious dishes, beautifully presented, in short, a real treat for the taste buds (and the eyes). Excellent value for money considering the quality of the food. A significant bonus: parking right across the street, because enjoying a good meal without driving around for 20 minutes is even better! I highly recommend this restaurant!

05/12/2025: This was a real find - having had a poor experience at the Dubliners pub round the corner, I was delighted to receive a proper welcome from friendly staff at What The Fox. I met some friends here and we had a great time - so much so that I returned the following night. It was very different, being full to bursting on a football night - however the cheerful staff ensured that everyone had a good time and a plentiful supply of beer!
