13/06/2026: The two young owners are nice. The decor is modern. The clientele has changed. But the waitress is awful. Two incidents: during the Champions League final and just recently. I won't be going back!

08/07/2026: Terrible service. We decided not to eat there and only ordered drinks. They live off tourism... The only good thing: its location.

04/07/2026: Restaurant located on the banks of the Allier River, with a shaded terrace. My favorite dish: the frog legs, they are delicious. The St. Marcellin salad is a delight. Generous portions, quick and very pleasant service.

13/07/2026: Summer tomato menu is a must try. Best view in town and best food (of course, it’s a bit pricy). If u are new to Avignon, make sure you try the Pape wines. It’s their local made.

03/07/2026: A terrible experience! The owner's welcome was appalling! It was incredibly hot that June day, and we would have preferred to eat inside, but this was categorically refused! There were four of us, and another table of two was also occupied! The atmosphere was very gloomy! The main course was guinea fowl, which might have been suitable for autumn, but not in June in 36-degree heat! The chef really could have adapted the menu! A huge disappointment, especially considering the prices! The dishes were served with rushed descriptions and no empathy or "enjoy your meal," as promised in an establishment that claims to be upscale! We will never go back!

03/07/2026: We had a pleasant time in a lovely setting, but we found the service rather slow. As for the meal, the mashed potatoes served with the young pollack were swimming in oil at the bottom of the dish, but the fish itself was cooked perfectly. The fries were quite bland and tasteless. The mussels were overcooked, and the scallops were frozen.

30/06/2026: What a wonderful surprise in Paris! The atmosphere at Le Bota Bastille was warm, stylish, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. A special thank you to the manager, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home throughout our visit. Hospitality like this always makes a place memorable. I ordered the La Bota Burger, and it was absolutely delicious — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. One of those burgers that you keep thinking about after you’ve finished it! The drinks were excellent as well, and the cozy interior with its beautiful décor created a great setting for relaxing with friends. A fantastic place for good food, good drinks, and even better people. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the Bastille area of Paris. We will definitely be back! 🇫🇷🍔🥂

30/06/2026: The terrace is very nice. However, I had a grumpy and very unpleasant waiter. I was supposed to have tuna tataki with a vegetable stir-fry, but the vegetables were just tasteless peas and carrots, very canned. Far from a real stir-fry. In short, a bad personal experience, but it's a beautiful place. I think it was just a one-off.

24/05/2026: This restaurant used to be nice. It's been closed for months without any clear reason. Apparently, they only do takeout... If the goal is permanent closure, they might as well just say so and move on...

01/07/2026: While passing through Gourdon, I was recommended Dolce Vita by the Auberge des Clarisses (which I also highly recommend!). The team was young, dynamic, and friendly, and the welcome was fantastic! The prices were very reasonable (I was surprised to see no pizzas over €13.50! We're not used to seeing that 😂) and the food was delicious! Thanks again, I'll know where to eat when I'm back in the area!

03/07/2026: Excellent lunch at Bistrot des Gourmets. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was delicious. I loved the melon, watermelon, and tomato carpaccio: a refreshing summer starter! The staff was very welcoming, and the restaurant's dining room was beautifully renovated a few months ago.

27/06/2026: Excellent service! We were served by Ambroise, a very friendly, professional, smiling, and helpful young man. The food was delicious; a great place to eat!

09/07/2026: Went past at 1.00 pm and very busy. Good for them. So I returned at 2.30, thinking the rush is over, and baring in mind they close at 16.00. No joy, kitchen closed. They may as well close ar 15.00, because clearly not much is going to happen after 14.00.

30/06/2026: Workers' restaurant. Appetizer buffet. Decent main courses. Desserts. Good value for money. Fast service.

11/06/2026: I ordered a flank steak…surprise, no sirloin! It was listed as grilled flank steak!! The meat was of poor quality, full of gristle; I couldn't even eat half of it. I pointed this out to the kitchen manager, who told me: "I'll pass it on to Socopa…" Okay, that's just great! Also, the cashier was arguing with the person making the coffee and crepes in front of the customers, and the toilets were dirty. It was about time I arrived so I could get some soap to wash my hands. In short, €18.85 and a very bad experience. To your response: False! I never asked for a refund! What are you talking about? You're saying I only expressed my dissatisfaction when I was paying the bill, but you pay before you're served! Your meat is poor quality; that's why it's marinated!! And I maintain that I only ate half of it because it was so bad. I would have preferred to enjoy it rather than waste my time with you now! If you're satisfied with the cleanliness of your toilet, we clearly have different ideas about hygiene and cleanliness. And at almost 2 PM today, two people had a heated argument in front of everyone. I'm not a liar, sir or madam, there's no point in that! Yours sincerely!
