27/11/2025: Very good, simple cuisine made with excellent ingredients. The only downside was the subpar service, with several errors: lack of knowledge about the dishes and wines, no helpful advice, and no expertise with the bottles.

24/01/2025: The staff is welcoming, plates with very generous portions (and well presented), you can see the cooking and preparation, fast service and a completely honorable decor. Note a vaulted cellar. A stone's throw from St Sulpice, frankly what could be better? +++ I like it!

24/01/2025: A very good experience. The crepes are delicious and affordable. The service staff are warm and friendly and can speak English. The environment is comfortable and lovely. The only drawback is that the seat is very small and it is easy to bump into people when entering and exiting.

08/07/2025: [I gave "Atmosphere" 3 stars because I don't really understand what that criterion is...] Four people at lunchtime (reservation) The welcome was friendly, the waitress and the owner were cheerful. We ate in the back courtyard, a pleasant spot that overlooked the square. It was very quiet and shaded thanks to the umbrellas. We ate à la carte, with starter, main course, and dessert, and it was unanimously appreciated; everything was perfect. The beef carpaccio was simply excellent, and it should be noted that the sauce served with it complemented it deliciously without, as is too often the case, masking the flavors of the food. The mixed salads were also appreciated, as the sauce was a subtle accompaniment without overpowering the food. The dishes were also appreciated for their aromatic and subtly seasoned taste. The trout steak has an unusual topping, a delight. The lamb was also a hit, and the beef steak was cooked as desired. The desserts also made us smile :) An important thing for me was that the quantities were just right. Regarding the price, I've read in some reviews that it's high. If you pay €12 for a bland 100g steak with defrosted, barely cooked fries, you won't have paid much, certainly, but you'll have been ripped off. :). It's the value for money that should be considered, not the amount alone, and in that case, it's fair to say it's reasonable. The chef delighted us.

08/12/2025: A lovely meal on a Sunday during the Festival of Lights with friends. A warm welcome, a beautiful setting, and delicious food. A classic bouchon-style meal; the dishes were tasty and generous! As a bonus, a quick photo with the owner – thank you to him for this delightful touch, which we truly appreciated. This restaurant is a sure bet; we will definitely be back!

02/12/2025: We ordered the duck confit, chicken and their in-house speciality, the pork and duck cassoulet. All the dishes tasted amazing and are a perfect reflection of what authentic French food should be! The duck confit and chicken was extremely fatty and tender. The cassoulet also tasted amazing with the extremely tender duck and pork. The service was amazing as the waiters constantly checked in on us to make sure we felt the food was okay and if we also needed more bread. To add on to our amazing experience, the Owner who is the chef surprised us with a small gift which really touched our hearts. Overall, the food tasted like a home- cooked meal cooked with love by the chef who has been cooking these dishes since 1985. This is probably one of the best restaurants I have eaten in aix-en-provence and I highly recommend others to try this restaurant if they ever come to aix-en-provence! 😋

03/09/2024: An exceptional break: although the front of the restaurant is quite confidential, you have to go through the door to discover an incredible garden. The tables are set up in the middle of the vegetation, in groves. The restaurateurs preferred to offer an exceptional setting rather than a larger number of place settings. No promiscuity, no good or bad food, we are in a vegetal setting and we eat very well there. The dishes are elaborate and very good. The service is professional and friendly.

02/07/2025: A 10/10! Passing through for a quad ride. We stopped here for lunch. And we had a blast. A huge thank you to the young woman who served us, who was truly beyond lovely! She deserved a lot of credit, because the restaurant was packed, as was our large table of 11 outside with other people. Thanks also to the owner (I think, who welcomed us with great affection and for taking our order). A huge shout-out to the cook, too, who was alone to satisfy all the customers! See you next time! 😀

The lady greeted us, but after ordering and starting to drink our appetizers, she came back to us, annoyed because we had clearly booked at a restaurant with the same name. We apologized for our clumsiness, but she ordered us to pay and leave immediately; we didn't even get to finish our drinks. A little bonus: she reported all the negative comments so she could get the 5 stars. My comment is regularly reported as a violation of the rules.

25/09/2025: We had an excellent lunch on the terrace, featuring fresh, regional produce, thoughtfully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff, as well as the owner, are attentive and friendly.

25/02/2025: Je suis cliente de ce restaurant depuis des années et je vois le service se dégrader à chaque visite, je réserve un vendredi soir en précisant voulant être dans un endroit plus calme, me voici devant la porte en plein passage, je demande une souri avec mon couscous fassi et je me retrouve avec 2 tranches de mouton, ...et aussi plus de digestif offert à la fin du repas. Le service des jeunes est déplorable j ai reçu de la semoule sur mon bras sans excuses. Cependant le couscous est toujours très bon .

21/09/2024: Food so OK! Service is 2/10 Atmosphere is very OK I recommend to visit another place for steaks unless you want to try and compare to another L‘Entrecôte. It’s kind of serve your self for the second round!

20/09/2024: Why does l'Entrecôte serve faux-filet instead of entrecôte? I expected a nice piece of meat that would melt in the mouth, but unfortunately, that was not at all my experience.
