03/10/2026: There are brunches that leave you feeling satisfied… and then there's the one at Auberge de la Bruche, which leaves you wondering if it was really wise to have dinner that evening. 😈 A truly wonderful discovery in a magnificent setting: a charming house, tasteful decor, and genuine attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was impeccable: smiling, friendly, helpful, efficient, and professional staff. In short, pleasant enough to make us momentarily forget that we had come primarily to eat. A lot. A whole lot. First excellent point: beautifully set tables, complete with tablecloths and cloth napkins. It might seem trivial, but in a world where a paper napkin folded into a triangle sometimes tries to pass itself off as elegance, it's a welcome touch. 😉 And as for the brunch itself, it was a resounding success. The buffet is generous, varied, beautifully presented, and above all, features many homemade dishes. Special mention—and our stomachs fully endorse this ranking—goes to the mini-burgers, the freshly grilled prawn skewers, the excellent butternut squash salad with cream cheese, the homemade gravlax salmon… and the mirabelle plum crème brûlée, which are probably a legally valid reason to return several times. 😇 The presentation is particularly refined, and you can sense the real culinary work behind the buffet, not just a collection of dishes left there waiting for customers. Now, because a completely glowing Google review might seem like it was written under the threat of a prawn skewer, let's look for two small things to improve. A few extra place settings near the buffet would be appreciated when you're switching from savory to sweet, then sweet to savory, and then back to sweet again because you clearly lack willpower. And it's sometimes a little difficult to know who does what among the staff. Without calling for the return of the penguin uniform from another century 🐧, a discreet dress code, a common color, or simply a badge would make it easier to identify the team and would, in our opinion, be perfectly consistent with the establishment's high-quality image. Finally, a special mention goes to the head waiter wearing glasses who was working upstairs in the brunch area and who also took our payment. Unfortunately, we didn't think to ask his name, but he might recognize himself: his welcome, smile, professionalism, and availability were impeccable from start to finish. 👏 In short: a beautiful setting, a welcoming and professional team, a generous brunch, homemade food, elegant presentation, and beautifully presented dishes. We came to try it out. We left satisfied, delighted, and with the firm intention of returning. Our scale, however, is currently considering filing a complaint. 😈 Well done to the whole team at Auberge de la Bruche!

14/10/2026: A craving for the mountains in the middle of Indian summer 😍, a hostel booked the same day... we arrived at Le Sabot de Vénus: a fantastic welcome, we dropped our bags in our room, then enjoyed a superb meal. We savored the ravioli gratin with cheese 😋 followed by incredible desserts. Everything is homemade 🧑‍🍳. The night was peaceful, the breakfast simple... We'll definitely be back 👍😍 we shared so much and had so many smiles.

11/09/2026: Great find and friendly owner! We were looking for a restaurant in Autrans on September 1st, but everything was closed. In Meandre, the restaurant was reserved for hotel guests, but the owner kindly agreed to serve us. The ravioli, main courses, and desserts were all excellent. I'll definitely go back to try the menu. A solid 5 stars!

12/10/2026: The food was delicious! I took a vegan sandwich with me to the harbor and ate it there. It was very fresh and prepared quickly. The sauce was delicious and well-seasoned.

03/10/2026: The welcome was incredibly warm, and the sandwiches looked absolutely delicious and were incredibly good. I had the chicken, lemon, and tapenade sandwich: it was amazing, perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. The homemade lemon-ginger juice was fantastic. Just a stone's throw from the old port, I wish I'd discovered it sooner.

15/09/2025: A true sensory journey: you eat in the dark, you search for your table as if in a labyrinth, and when your plate finally arrives, you almost regret having found it. Between the lack of flavor and the lack of light, it's hard to say which is worse. It's a shame because the service was the only positive point… but it doesn't make up for the frankly bad food, and especially at €42 for the set menu without drinks, the value for money is truly disappointing. I do not recommend it.

14/09/2025: I thank Reda for the incredible welcome he gave me and my family for my mother's birthday. The service was perfect, as warm as it was delicious. The dishes were excellent, both the meat and the salmon. I highly recommend it to everyone!

06/10/2026: Classic French cuisine, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to my expectations. Very expensive for what you get. Friendly service, although I was surprised to be asked for a tip, which isn’t customary in France. Overall, pleasant but not worth a return visit.

03/10/2026: This is such a great place. The Beef Bourguignon is such a highlight…the meat is so deliciously perfect. The staff is so kind and friendly, wonderful place to have dinner!

14/09/2026: Enjoyable time sitting outside on the terrace. Very cheap compared to Belgium: steak tartare with salad and fries 15 euros, mayo and ketchup on the table at no extra charge. Steak with salad, peppercorn sauce, and fries 16 euros. Paid 48.40 euros with 2 glasses of white wine, 1 cola, and 2 Oranginas. Definitely worth repeating.

14/06/2026: We visited this very welcoming Sologne restaurant on June 14th, where the service was friendly and highly professional. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. On this sunny day, we enjoyed our aperitif, coffee, and digestif outside in the shade of the trees. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. A place to visit again and again! We were part of a group of six, but there were only five of us! Thank you, and we look forward to returning to your establishment.

01/05/2026: I was in this village of 2,000 inhabitants with my 24-year-old son for the golf tournament. What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was! Exquisite amuse-bouches, original and well-executed starters, and generous main courses (I had the 12-hour marinated pork). Not a huge selection of wines by the glass, but that didn't matter when the food was so delicious and reasonably priced! I recommend it, though I'm not being very original since they're listed as a "gourmet restaurant" by Gault & Millau! 🤣

21/08/2026: A superb lunch break; the menu is very well-thought-out and delicious. The service is also very pleasant. The dining room is air-conditioned during the heatwave.

11/08/2026: You'll dine in a superb setting. Overlooking a pond, you can enjoy absolutely delicious dishes, not to mention the meat—you're in Charolais country, so the meat is excellent. Even the children's menus are cooked to perfection, a welcome change from the usual ham and chips or chicken nuggets and chips. My sincere congratulations to the owners and chefs!
