10/07/2026: A very pretty setting! A charming village atmosphere is guaranteed. If the weather is nice, definitely ask for a table on the terrace. The starter and the daily special were very good and fresh (spelt chicken with a mushroom sauce). The ribeye steak could use a sauce or maître d'hôtel butter to accompany it, as it was a little dry. The fries were divine, perfectly cooked. The burgers were generous and the steak was of excellent quality. The young women serving were very pleasant, and we wanted for nothing (the water carafe was regularly replenished). The prices are reasonable. Suggestions: - Add steak and fries to the menu - Sauce or butter for the ribeye steak In short, we'll be back! =)

06/07/2026: Excellent restaurant. We had the pleasure of celebrating our second wedding anniversary there. We loved everything on the tasting menu, from the first course to the dessert! The mix of textures, the flavors, the freshness of the ingredients... it was perfect! What I also really appreciated was how attentive they were to the composition of my dishes, especially since I was pregnant (the kitchen staff were fully aware of every single herb I could and couldn't eat; it was truly professional, thoughtful, and reassuring, which isn't always the case...). They even managed to create delicious dishes that delighted my palate with a few adjustments. And let's not forget the staff: perfect and lovely! For me, it was everything I could have hoped for. We will definitely be back. Thank you again!

14/07/2026: I cannot share enough good things about this restaurant…. if you can call it that. It’s actually an experience. The service is outstanding and the food will be like nothing you’ve ever tried before. Not to mention the view is out of this world - right on the bay of Renecros. If you are in the Cote d’Azure this is a must!

04/08/2026: We happened to be in the area and discovered this fantastic restaurant. The concept had already impressed us online, and we weren't disappointed. We arrived at lunchtime, and since it was a spontaneous visit, we were still wearing our sportswear. That wasn't a problem at all. We felt very comfortable right away. The ambiance is cozy yet sophisticated. The menu was perfectly tailored to our tastes; every single course and every amuse-bouche tasted wonderful and was a truly delightful experience. The service was also very friendly and attentive. The value for money is excellent! We will definitely be back. I don't think there was a vegetarian option for the main course, but I imagine you could certainly inquire about that in advance.

26/06/2026: Maison Villemanzy is a classic on the slopes of Croix-Rousse, known of course for its exceptional view of the city! And what a view it is! It's a unique place that I enjoyed rediscovering after several years! The set menu is quite reasonably priced and offers a wide selection of dishes. For me, the pea soup as a starter was a delight! I was a little more disappointed by my beef tartare, which was the low point of the evening. Everything else was perfect: from the attentive service to the view, and even the dishes in general were very good (especially the pork with polenta). But clearly, the tartare was a huge disappointment. For the price of the set menu, one expects much better quality; it's definitely the area for improvement, in my opinion. This doesn't detract too much from my experience, and it would be unfair to deduct a star for it. I'll keep an eye on how the dish develops, and I hope to return soon and be pleasantly surprised! Thank you so much for the perfect welcome, exceptional service, and for being so attentive to our requests! We hope to return soon!

26/07/2026: We stopped by on Saturday at lunchtime without prior notice and were immediately warmly welcomed, despite the weather making the terrace unusable. There is a parking space available. The dining room was very pleasant and quiet. The restrooms were very clean! The meal (tartares and chowder) was delicious, fresh, and served quickly with excellent seasoning. A nice bonus was that the seasoning for the tartare was left to the customer, so the meat was served plain, allowing for a truly personalized touch. The fondant was excellent and perfectly cooked. Finally, the staff were very welcoming, attentive, helpful, and always smiling! It was a refreshing roadside stop.
