Here there is a tight-knit team with fast service and a good chef in the kitchen. If you want to be sure to enjoy the menu of the day, you should make sure to reserve a seat. It happens that the house is full when traditional dishes are on the menu. Definitely worth recommending as a good local restaurant.

Cold fries, couscous that looks like it came straight from a Tipiak box, a burger topped with cucumbers and threads (an unexpected textile experience), and a Caesar salad that's Caesar in name only… Jules would have filed a complaint. In short, if you used to like the place, it's best to keep the good memories and not go back.

20/09/2026: We celebrated my son's birthday at Cityfun Castres on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM, with the "Pizza Party" package, which includes half a pizza per child, a game of bowling, and unlimited sodas. I also added a birthday cake to the package. When making the reservation, I contacted the manager directly to ask if it would be possible to have a table so the children could eat their pizzas somewhere other than on the bowling lanes. He confirmed that it was perfectly possible and that a table would be set up. At that point, there were no complaints: the manager was very kind and accommodating. On the day of the birthday, upon our arrival, the person there explained that she wasn't aware of the table, but that she could still set one up. We therefore had to wait while she prepared it, and we clearly got the impression that this request bothered her. The biggest problem arose when it came time for the cake. The children were, of course, thirsty and asked for drinks. A young employee told them very rudely that it wasn't possible and that they had to ask for drinks once they were on the dance floor. I then asked her why, since the package stated "unlimited sodas." She replied, still in a very unpleasant tone, that it was only on the dance floor and that otherwise "it would be too easy," because the children would stay and drink all evening. I found this response particularly inappropriate. The children had asked for drinks once while eating pizza and then again when it came time for the cake; there was absolutely no question of them overindulging or staying all evening drinking. Especially since there were three of us mothers, and we also ordered drinks in addition to the birthday package. I then tried to calmly explain my dissatisfaction to another employee present, but her attitude was also very unpleasant. In the end, it wasn't so much the organization that disappointed us, but the attitude and lack of courtesy of the staff, which really spoiled what should have been a pleasant moment for my son's birthday. I find it a shame that the service and welcome didn't live up to what was advertised in the package. If certain conditions apply to the "unlimited sodas" (for example, only during the bowling game), they should be clearly stated at the time of booking, rather than being explained to the children in an unpleasant tone on the day of the birthday. A very disappointing experience, especially for a child's birthday party!

The dishes were flavorful, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. An ideal spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner with a view of the historic center. 25/09/2026: I was very disappointed with this meal. The tartiflette was truly awful: there was far too much cheese, and the charcuterie seemed to be of very average quality. You could almost find the same thing in a supermarket. The pizza was even worse: undercooked and, in my opinion, simply inedible. More generally, the problem lies primarily with the food: the dishes clearly lack skill, care, and quality. It's far from refined cuisine. It makes you wonder how some dishes can even leave the kitchen in such a state. For me, the value for money is absolutely not there.

19/09/2026: We were very disappointed by this experience. We thought we'd found a good mountain restaurant, but unfortunately, the quality was sorely lacking. The tartiflette was particularly disappointing: tasteless potatoes, a very watery sauce, and barely discernible cheese… Nothing like a truly flavorful and generous tartiflette. The charcuterie served with it was equally disappointing, clearly giving the impression of industrial deli meats rather than quality mountain products. And when a restaurant advertises homemade cuisine, you expect to find flavor, quality ingredients, and a minimum level of quality on the plate. Unfortunately, that's not what we found. To make matters worse, the atmosphere was quite unpleasant: the owner was particularly rude to his waitress in front of the other customers, which was really unpleasant to witness. We were so disappointed that we didn't even order dessert. For the price, we frankly expected something else. We do not recommend this place and we will not be returning.
