01/09/2026: Spoiler alert: don’t go there. Service was a disgrace. Got there and was spoken only in French, was given a menu in French, when was trying to get some help with understanding the menu the male waitress shows a real snobby, rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. “Explained” to us that we need to go on instagram to see the dishes, which doesn’t make sense because you can’t really understand what the dish is made of only based on the picture can you. Asked him to recommend to us but he answered in French and left. Had to finish our drink and leave because we couldn’t order anything, people in the restaurant felt bad for the terrible human skills and offered to help but we were too upset to stay there.

19/02/2026: We arrived with complete independence. The housekeeping in the rooms needs improvement as they are starting to show their age. The food was well-equipped, the pool was clean and well-heated, and the rooms were also well-prepared. The bed was made up before our arrival and even included an extra pillow. There were no bathrobes for the pool. We only stayed one night, but I could easily see myself staying a week.

15/02/2026: A very nice residence, well located near Annecy with a lovely view, and several swimming pools, including one open even in winter. Self check-in is available from 2 pm onwards, which we really appreciated.

21/10/2026: Given that La Boule d’Or in Feurs is one of the highest-rated restaurants in the region, I expected a welcome that lived up to its reputation. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was very disappointed: I waited for over five minutes at the reception desk without anyone greeting me or even attending to me. Faced with this lack of attention, I finally decided to leave without even being seated. It's truly a shame that such a highly rated establishment gives such a negative first impression. A minimum of welcome and consideration for customers seems essential to me, regardless of the restaurant's standing. A disappointing experience that doesn't make me want to return.

10/05/2026: A mixed experience. The two young waiters were really cute and very kind to us. However, the savory crepes were way overcooked, way overfilled, and way too buttery! It's a shame to complain about the excess, but as a result, we enjoyed our meal less and left feeling much too full. The sweet crepes were the same; they were crispy but overcooked and way too sweet and buttery again… We tried your signature cider… it had an aftertaste and wasn't to our liking! And I should mention that the cooks don't wear hair or beard protection, which can be a bit disconcerting! It's a real shame because the place is cute and the staff are lovely!
