24/01/2026: We absolutely loved this restaurant! The cheese is delicious (the Reblochon was amazing 😍), the food is all-you-can-eat, the atmosphere is authentic, and the staff is so welcoming! We left with smiles on our faces and full bellies, and we'll definitely be back!

01/03/2026: We came as a family and were immediately immersed in a warm, family atmosphere. The servers were very welcoming and attentive to the children. Everything is designed to ensure a pleasant experience: coloring books for the children, tokens for access to the playroom. The food was delicious, and the menu offered a wide variety of choices. A wonderful time! Thank you! We will be back.

17/01/2026: We visited Restaurant L'Essentie last night with our good friends and neighbours Francois and Valerie to belatedly celebrate the New Year. At the end of the festive season he might think one celebration too many, but Pauline and her husband who is the chef never disappoint and served up a truly fantastic dinner to start 2026. Salmon en croute with mushrooms and Cavalo Nero cooked with incredible imagination and to finish pears poached in red wine with cream and toasted hazelnuts fantastic. Definitely the best restaurant around, if you’re looking for a quiet intimate place to enjoy master cooking we’re friends and family.

20/02/2026: Delicious food and impeccable presentation. No complaints about the taste. However, regarding the portions… I'm still undecided between a gourmet restaurant and an intermittent fasting experiment 😅 The main course and dessert were truly tiny—delicious, but clearly insufficient for a proper meal. It's a shame, because with slightly larger portions, the experience would have been excellent from start to finish.
