25/01/2026: Discovered this establishment last night during a drag show with amazing performers. The final song was incredibly moving, truly showcasing the artists' love for their craft and passion. A warm welcome, excellent food, and a fantastic atmosphere from everyone—from the servers to the management team and the chef. A truly wonderful experience that I highly recommend!

22/02/2026: The meal was excellent. The service was a little late, but I understand, the restaurant was full. The servers were friendly and attentive to each table. We were a bit cramped with the other tables; it would be great if the tables could be spaced out a bit more, even if it meant removing one or two.

17/02/2026: I discovered Le Fossile several years ago, and it has definitely become a must-visit on every trip to Strasbourg. It possesses a traditional charm that blends perfectly with home-style cooking and evokes the best memories, far beyond fleeting trends. Fresh, high-quality ingredients. The foie gras and snails are exquisite. Their signature dish, the hanger steak, prepared in all its forms, is a marvel. The icing on the cake: the Armagnac collection (dating back to 1912!!) is the perfect finishing touch for any evening—a little insider tip: ask for your birth year. I can only guarantee one thing: I will be back again and again.

The food was generous and delicious (we loved the latest chicken burger creation—thank you again for this lovely touch!). All the guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The meal was excellent, beautifully presented, and the weekday menu was very reasonably priced! Starter, main course, dessert... everything was perfect! The wine list offers affordable prices! 17/02/2026: We received a warm welcome from the entire team and had a very pleasant time. We were there for my mother's birthday and everything was perfect. The food was excellent, and everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, was happy. We will be back.

15/02/2026: We had booked Le Relais du Buisson for Valentine's Day. There were three of us. The welcome is always pleasant. They take their time. A small glass of champagne with an amuse-bouche to start, excellent. The menu was varied and delicious, with starters, main courses, and dessert. However, since we were upstairs, we didn't get to enjoy the jazz band that was playing downstairs. There could have been a speaker upstairs because, apart from the excellent menu, there was no atmosphere, which was a shame. Finally, our table was on the side, along the wall, and there was a cold draft coming through the glass roof.
