03/06/2026: The restaurant is truly beautiful, elegant, and meticulously crafted. We were also pleased with the food: well-executed, high-quality dishes. Unfortunately, the service didn't live up to the setting. The glasses of wine we ordered at the beginning arrived only after the appetizer, making us miss out on the pleasure of pairing it with our chosen wine. Furthermore, there was some confusion with one of the main courses: we were informed that the salmon trout wasn't available and would be replaced with sea bass with vegetables, but in the end, a salmon trout arrived anyway. Unexpected events can happen, but we would have appreciated clearer and more transparent communication from the staff. Finally, when we ordered an additional glass of wine, it arrived already poured. I personally believe that, especially in a restaurant of this caliber, it's good practice to show the bottle at the table before service, so that the customer can check the label on the wine ordered. Overall, a good experience in terms of ambiance and cuisine, but some aspects of the service could be improved.

Everything was perfect... the parsley sauce was a delight for the taste buds... the snails too... the morel mushroom tarts were excellent... the beef bourguignon was superbly slow-cooked... 28/05/2026: Impeccable from start to finish. The view, the service, the multi-course bouillabaisse—a delight. No need to say more; if you want to eat excellent bouillabaisse with impeccable service and a magnificent view, this is the place to go. Truly superb.

04/06/2026: What can I say… We had a reservation for four people at 7 pm for Mother's Day. At 9 pm, we still hadn't received our hot meal! Two young children were hungry and, of course, tired. We tried to keep them occupied as long as possible, but in the end, we left at 9 pm without having been able to eat the main course, which apparently had finally been ready… I understand that it was very busy, but a two-hour wait is really excessive. Regarding the appetizers, the salmon appetizer was good. However, the snails were much too salty; I don't recommend them. There's a dog in the restaurant; be aware if you're allergic, as it's not mentioned anywhere.

01/06/2026: ABSOLUTELY AVOID I'm giving it 1 star because I can't give 0. We had booked for Sunday, May 31st, 2025, Mother's Day, at 7 pm. So far, so good: 2 adults and 2 babies (17 months old). We had brought some toys to keep them entertained. At 7:05 pm, we arrived and were told to take a seat, which we did. At 7:30 pm, there was still no one to attend to us (the room was far from full). At 7:45 pm, someone finally came to ask us what we wanted, so we gave our choice and waited again for the aperitif. Then our aperitif arrived (after a 1-hour wait), followed by our starter. At 9 pm, there was still no hot meal, so the babies were hungry, and so were we. It was starting to feel very long, far too long, especially since people who arrived after us were served before us. We had to leave before eating (we had already had our aperitif and eaten the starter). 41 euros just for that! My daughter went to see the owner, who told her it would be 3 minutes. After 10 minutes, I went to pay, and she told me it was ready and would bring my plates. I told her no, we've been waiting since 7 pm, we're not waiting any longer! She was angry, but I could see that after 2 hours we had barely eaten anything, and the babies had had nothing at all. Furthermore, hygiene was nonexistent. A German Shepherd wanders around among the customers, goes into the kitchen, and so on...

13/04/2026: Le Farinaud is a truly wonderful place in Pipay. A must in winter for a lunch break on the slopes, and just as pleasant in summer to enjoy the cool mountain air. Special mention goes to the blueberry tart and the walnut tart—both are excellent. A warm welcome, a beautiful mountain establishment, and Agnès and her entire team are incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it!

02/04/2026: A wonderful discovery at Le Farinaud. The cuisine is authentic, with delicious and generous homemade dishes and desserts, and a special mention goes to the truly remarkable desserts. The setting is incredible, with views of the Chartreuse and Belledonne mountains. An authentic place that has retained its charm, highly recommended.

01/06/2026: Excellent welcome and interaction with the staff: We weren't rushed and they asked us what service was best for us, which was very pleasant. All our plates were returned empty 😋 (there's a vegetarian option 👍 And the steaks on the children's menu are really big steaks). The dining room and restrooms were clean! TOP notch, we'll be back!

31/05/2026: We came this Sunday, Mother's Day, without having booked in advance, and had a truly wonderful time. The food was top-notch, the service was excellent, the setting magnificent, the produce fresh, and the cuisine refined. Honestly, 10 out of 10! Well done to you all!

14/06/2026: A truly wonderful place where I celebrated my birthday after a guided tour of the neighborhood themed "The Witch Hunt: Powerful Women of Paris," offered by Feminist in the City. The welcome at Ninon's is incredibly warm. Chef Toyo is so attentive and friendly. The place is a haven of peace. I easily arranged a reservation for a large table on the terrace and ordered a birthday cake to share. From the seasonal selection, Chef Toyo suggested a fraisier (strawberry cake), which was spectacular, perfectly balanced, and exquisitely delicate: beautiful to look at, not too sweet, well-proportioned, with an excellent sponge cake, light and firm cream, all decorated with my name and a birthday candle. The slices were generous and delicious. We also couldn't resist trying the orange cake, recommended by a neighbor at the next table who explained that she travels across Paris just to taste it. And I can see why! The coffee is good, the ice cream exquisite, the freshly squeezed orange juice, and the cakes superb! We felt very welcome and pampered; the team was absolutely charming to all of us and my family. This little haven of delicious flavors also charmed my international guests: a great spot for all generations. We had a wonderful time! Thank you! We will definitely be back. I will treasure this place as one of my favorite spots for coffee and pastries.
