09/04/2026: THE END We have visited this restaurant several times, though not as regulars, and the experience has always been very satisfactory until now. The welcome was warm, with thoughtful touches like canapés upon arrival, and the service was generally attentive. During our last visit, we learned that the establishment would be closing permanently on March 28, 2026. Unfortunately, this was noticeable quite quickly in the overall experience. Some of the usual touches were missing: no toast with tapenade while we waited, no draft beer, no mustard. We understand that an impending closure complicates things, but it remains important to maintain a certain level of professionalism until the very last day. As for the food, the quality was lacking this time: one of the two pieces of meat was particularly tough and inedible. The atmosphere in the dining room also gave the impression of service performed without real enthusiasm, as if it were one too many. It's all the more regrettable as our previous visits had always been successful. We'll remember a restaurant that knew how to do well, but which ends on a very disappointing note. Judging by the last service, it's clear that the motivation was no longer there. If we understand correctly, the team is abandoning traditional restaurant service for cafeteria-style dining. We wish them well.

12/06/2026: Disappointing. The road leading to the inn offers a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the inn is surrounded by trees whose canopies almost completely obscure this view. €30 Set Menu Starter: either half a buffalo mozzarella, or lettuce with three thin slices of cheese and "Italian charcuterie," a pompous term for four very thin slices of coppa. The main course was served on chipped plates! Either a quarter of a duck breast, already sliced ​​and overcooked, or a very dry grilled duck confit leg, accompanied by a small amount of potato gratin heavily flavored with nutmeg and very few seasonal vegetables. Desserts served: Avoid the croustade, which lacks butter. The baba isn't a baba at all, but rather a kind of pound cake soaked in a sugar syrup where you can barely detect the Armagnac, and topped with a tiny amount of canned whipped cream. The strawberry melba is served with a scoop of low-quality vanilla ice cream. Overall, very disappointing. It had been a long time since we'd been there, and we won't be going back.

19/04/2026: Located next to the Biot glassworks, we went there for lunch one weekday. The daily special, couscous, was very generous and excellent value for money. From the regular menu, we ordered a risotto with cod, which was also good.

The beach restaurant is okay, but the staff seemed almost entirely to be helpers and had no experience in the restaurant business. Bread and oil were only brought after we asked for them, and oil was dispensed. The cooks should also improve.

01/05/2026: Great hotel with a very friendly and uncomplicated welcome. The price-performance ratio is excellent. The breakfast buffet is small, but very well selected. The hotel's own restaurant is particularly convenient. I really liked my room with its balcony and beautiful view – a successful blend of rustic and modern style. Everything was clean, and the large shower was a real plus. I'd gladly come back! 👍
