28/09/2026: When you arrive in a city you're discovering for the first time for a holiday in Calvi, there's one exceptional place you absolutely must visit: La Poivrière! A particularly warm welcome and exceptionally friendly staff: you feel at ease the moment you walk through the door. You're completely comfortable. A big thank you to Manu, Sabine, and our ever-smiling waiter. The restaurant also boasts an ideal, convenient, and pleasant location. As for the food, the chef delighted us with simply outstanding cuisine, generous and bursting with flavor. Don't hesitate to try the fisherman's platter with lobster and the capon (or scorpionfish) with its divine fresh vegetable tagliatelle, and the mussels from Diana's pond. Even the perfectly tender roasted chicken in its own juices is delicious, all at a reasonable price. The tiramisu is divine, and to finish in style, try a myrtle liqueur or a limoncello. A truly wonderful place that you'll want to return to without hesitation. Thank you to the whole team! Don't hesitate, go for it!!!

27/09/2026: Very unhelpful staff. We were served an entrecote that was obviously spoiled, had a nauseating smell, and tasted disgusting. The dish was rejected and sent back to the kitchen. Both the waitress and the chef tried to make us believe it was good, but they didn't bother to offer an alternative.

20/09/2026: Discovered this charming place, enjoying a very pleasant evening on the terrace. The eggs meurette were highly recommended as exceptional; it's a shame they were missing the bacon. I'll be back.

20/09/2026: My husband and I were passing through to explore the region. We were recommended a restaurant by the person we were staying with. The setting of Le Cellier Volnaysien is very pleasant, with a calm and relaxing outdoor area. The restaurant is located in a vaulted stone cellar, tastefully decorated. The waitresses were helpful, friendly, and always smiling. The atmosphere was relaxed, convivial, calm, and professional. And the meal? Delicious! We chose the beef fondue with baked potatoes. The ingredients were high quality, and the desserts were homemade (and we even left with the potato recipe!). The wine pairing was excellent, perfectly suited to our dish and our tastes. In short, I highly recommend it and wish the whole team continued success!

11/09/2026: In a bucolic setting, a very pleasant evening on a lovely terrace, on a night of solar eclipse… But we must also mention the warm welcome, the authentic and tasteful decor, and above all, a gourmet menu (€42!) that fully satisfied our taste buds, with a special mention for the fresh duck foie gras from Périgord, chutney, and its walnut bread tuile… a delight! Finally, a big thank you to the manager, who spontaneously offered us a cognac and a glass of champagne when he realized there was a birthday in the air… a very thoughtful touch! A truly wonderful place!

13/09/2026: Sometimes the service is slow, even for salads. Sometimes the food is served at a delay, and you end up waiting for the person with you to be served before you can eat. I also think the prices have gone up and the portion sizes have decreased when you order a set menu, especially the appetizers. That said, the staff are incredibly pleasant and kind.

12/09/2026: Go if you have the time. The food was very good, but we didn't get to try the desserts. We gave up after waiting for an hour and a half. The service was disastrous; we had to ask for everything to be served, even though the restaurant was half empty.
