The flavors were overwhelmed (traditional without any twist, no surprises). It's a shame because the idea is good. The menu needs updating. 30/09/2026: The restaurant is truly lovely, the food is absolutely perfect and well-prepared. The service is incredible, especially the welcome. The waiter, Massy, ​​is fantastic—polite, friendly, and patient in taking orders and serving the dishes quickly. The barista, Frank, is brilliant; every drink is perfectly poured, and the attention to detail makes for an exceptional experience. The dishes are amazing, the restaurant is clean, welcoming, and charming, and every time I come, it's a new and very pleasant experience. I highly recommend you come and have a great time, just like I do. Honestly, it's the best restaurant in the 78 (Yvelines department).

31/07/2026: We came to this large restaurant near the train station one evening during the week. The servers were very friendly and welcoming, and we were able to sit on the terrace. However, the food wasn't good. The mountain burger buns were extremely dry, and the burger was swimming in ketchup (the meat itself was very good, though). The pizza verde was also very bland (far too much cheese, no salt, etc.), and the zucchini was burnt. We were really disappointed with the food. I don't recommend it.

20/07/2026: I do not recommend this restaurant. The four of us wanted to eat there for lunch during our work break. Exceptionally, that day, I had my dog ​​with me. The young woman told us it was fine for us, but not for the dog. I'm not one of those people who abandon their dog just to go out for a meal. When I asked her why, she replied that the fur would fly around and could cause allergies. Please note, we're talking about a small dog weighing 2 kg, which was in its carrier, completely closed. The fur couldn't possibly fly around, and I pointed this out to her. She simply replied, "That's how it is, we don't want them here!" This wasn't indicated anywhere at the restaurant entrance. A few hours later, I walked past the restaurant again and noticed that tables had been set up on the sidewalk so customers could eat on the terrace, which wasn't offered to us. I've never been refused entry to a restaurant with my dog, especially when he's in a carrier. We understood perfectly well that she didn't like dogs. Luckily, we were very well received at another restaurant where we could have our lunch break. Now I know which restaurant I won't recommend.

08/10/2026: I bought some cream puffs and canelés today. The cream puffs were very good, light and crisp. The canelés, sold in packs of four: absolutely terrible!!! Soggy! No flavor! Doughy!

03/10/2026: Avoid this place! This restaurant doesn't listen to its customers and refuses to accept criticism. Look at older reviews that express the same feelings. It's necessary to set the record straight regarding your response: Missing information about the ribeye steak: It is nowhere stated that the ribeye steak on the menu is meant to be shared. Other older reviews on your page already point this out. Furthermore, the meat served was excessively fatty and contained a disproportionate amount of bone compared to the edible portion (as shown in the attached photos). Goodwill gesture and apple juice: The glass of apple juice wasn't charged out of pure generosity, but simply because the apple juice included in the unlimited drink deal was never actually served to us. Attitude and Team Management: Regarding your lack of consideration, when we pointed out the inconsistencies with the manager, she dismissed the issue by contemptuously explaining that the employees were newly hired, didn't yet know how things worked, and were "just regular employees." When we suggested she call the servers to confirm our statements, she categorically refused to speak with them. It is precisely this refusal and behavior that demonstrate the bad faith and condescension we denounced.

02/10/2026: There were two of us that day, and we had a wonderful time. We're from the area, so we know a little about the traditions of our good old cider houses. The rib-eye steak was excellent, perfectly cooked, the charcuterie very good, and the welcome was pleasant. And since it seems we need to mention it: sagardoa, Basque cider, is something you either love or hate. Tastes are subjective. But when you come to the Basque Country on holiday and walk into a traditional cider house, the least you can do is perhaps learn a little about what a sagardotegi is and the traditions that go with it. Basque cider isn't Breton cider, and that's precisely the point! 😄 It's drier, more rustic, with its own characteristics and, above all, a real story behind it. You might not like it, no problem. But criticizing a Basque cider house for serving Basque cider is rather odd. The same goes for the ribeye steak: in this kind of establishment, prime cuts are meant to be shared. The bone is part of the meat, and that's hardly a surprise when you order a ribeye. So, to tourists visiting our region: enjoy yourselves, discover our products and traditions. And if you're unfamiliar with them, do some research before your vacation. 😉 As for us, we have no complaints: we'll gladly return. 🌶️🥩🍏

25/09/2026: I ordered a beer and a sausage there on September 21st. Having lost my bank card that same day, I wanted to pay by check, which the owner categorically refused. I then suggested other solutions like a bank transfer or a Wero (a type of mobile payment), but he also refused, taking back the beer and sausage while publicly shaming me in front of all the other customers. The free glass of water was refused...you had to pay for your 50cl bottle of water... When you come and order a platter and a few beers, and then they refuse you a glass of water, I find that petty... At my uncles' place, it's gotten to the point where everything is about money, even the small bottle of water... It's a shame and it spoils the image... To the point where, I'm sorry, but I didn't order anything else afterward...

20/08/2026: As a dog owner, I felt rejected upon discovering that dogs are prohibited on the premises, even on a leash. All the signs indicating this, as well as the clearly stated prohibitions on your website, seem extremely inappropriate. My family still wanted to eat there, so I made the effort to go, only to be refused entry at 1 p.m. in the middle of August... incomprehensible. I'm not about to spend a single penny at your establishment. But apparently, you don't need to! I will certainly be sharing my experience with others.

15/08/2026: We enjoy coming to the guinguette (riverside café) every year. It's a peaceful, simple, and pleasant spot with a beach, canoes, and live music. The guinguette offers perfectly decent food at very reasonable prices. We tried the mussels Spanish style – delicious! We recommend this place for a day out, a meal, or even just an afternoon!
