As for the taste buds, it's a festival: from the perfect simplicity of butter and sugar to the bold character of the flambéed rum and raisin, everything is delicious. Special mention goes to the homemade whipped cream, which elevates the entire experience. As they say here: at Crêperie des Canettes, you won't miss a single crumb!

23/05/2026: A wonderful evening! We were lucky enough to sit at the bar and had fantastic glimpses into the Michelin-star-worthy kitchen. The concept is charmingly different from what you would expect in this location. Highly recommended!

02/06/2026: An extremely pleasant stay in Brancion. The village is pretty and peaceful (a remarkable castle, a Romanesque church with its touching medieval frescoes, and lush countryside just a few minutes' walk away). The family who runs the place deserves much of the credit, thanks to their strong commitment to the exciting adventure of keeping the village alive. The inn's new rooms are beautifully renovated: fine materials, lovely furniture, and exceptional bedding. The guesthouse next door is a haven of peace. It's well-appointed, the view of the castle from the kitchen is unique, and the small garden at the back is perfect for relaxing and recharging. The manager's mother is dynamic, friendly, and very interesting; she shares her passion for the place. She runs a small refreshment stand in her lovely garden. And Emma's outdoor café is very convenient, especially for breakfast. A big thank you to the whole team for sharing this wonderful experience!

24/05/2026: A must-try in the neighborhood. We had dinner there after a show at the Happy Comédie. Delicious, and with outstanding service (professional, friendly, and very attentive). We will definitely return!

22/05/2026: From a culinary standpoint, there was nothing to complain about. The major problem of the evening: the owner humiliated the young waitress with very unpleasant remarks, without any regard for the other customers present... This made us very uncomfortable and ruined our dinner.

Management always takes on apprentices, both in the dining room and the kitchen; training young people is important. For us, this is THE restaurant to visit as a couple or family in the area. The food is excellent. We recommend it 100%. Don't hesitate to make the trip; you won't be disappointed.

04/05/2026: We highly recommend Le Salvert restaurant. We celebrated our civil wedding reception there, and everything went perfectly. The restaurant's setting is magnificent, and we were fortunate enough to enjoy the outdoor seating, which made the occasion even more enjoyable. The dishes were absolutely delicious and delighted all of our guests. A huge thank you to the chef and his entire team for their warm welcome, professionalism, and attention to detail!

30/05/2026: I went back to this bar where I'd been with friends who were regulars; and this time the welcome was disrespectful, almost rude. A completely surreal experience. Clearly, they didn't like the look of me. What a shame: I work nearby and live in Nice. I'm not some passing tourist they can just make fun of.

Every single part of the meal was so delicious, all cooked with beautiful, fresh produce. The food was perfectly cooked, served and presented. The whole experience was divine and this place is such a hidden gem! Also the wait stuff are just wonderful! You will not regret going here ✨😍✨
