04/08/2026: I'd been there once before and it wasn't bad, even if the service was a bit "unique." I wanted to come back; the weather was nice, and the terrace looked inviting. As I walked in, they gave me a hard look before coldly telling me, "That's not going to be possible, we're full." The terrace was completely empty, and the inside was only about half full. I wanted to give them a second chance, but what a shame. I'll never go back; clearly, they don't care about the work.

12/09/2026: Unbeatable value for money, excellent dishes prepared by a passionate chef using fresh, high-quality ingredients and served with care! This is the best restaurant in Meyrueis. Discreetly tucked away between two brasseries, don't hesitate to step inside for a delicious and convivial experience on the deck that serves as a terrace or in one of the two dining rooms. You won't regret it!

29/08/2026: A mixed experience... On the plus side, it's very good: a short menu and seasonal products. We approve! However, the portions are really very small, far too small for the price! The worst part was the €13 dessert, which was finished in three small spoonfuls... What a shame.

06/07/2026: The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is incredible! This is the place to be in Avoriaz for a festive break right on the slopes. The atmosphere under the sun is magical, perfect for après-ski with breathtaking mountain views. As for the food, it's pure bliss: their truffle pizza is simply exceptional, generous and fragrant, ideal to pair with a good glass of wine. The staff are super energetic and friendly despite the crowds. An experience not to be missed!

08/06/2026: I've been to La Folie Douce two years now – and it's been fantastic every time! Great DJs, great music, no cover charge, drink prices are perfectly reasonable for après-ski, friendly staff, cool dancers, clean restrooms, and always a fun atmosphere among the guests. Plus, they regularly have great themed parties (like Aperol Spritz). I'll be skiing in Avoriaz again next year, so I'll definitely be visiting La Folie Douce regularly!

08/09/2026: Welcoming atmosphere, a restaurant frequented by locals, and very friendly staff. The outdoor setting is very pleasant; reservations are recommended to secure a table. Among the dishes we ordered, we really enjoyed the quiche.

03/09/2026: Okay, I'll start with the good points: nice atmosphere and fast service. But the glass of St Amour (warm, not good) at 8 and the mini Landes salad at 18, in which there's a bit of old liver mousse, 4 duck breasts, and where a halved cherry tomato, four potatoes, and some salad are fighting each other – not exactly fresh – it's just not possible.

17/09/2026: Dinner this Wednesday at Brasserie Bleue. Pleasant setting, beautifully presented and delicious dishes, perfectly cooked fish, and delectable desserts. Add to that a fine wine cellar and, above all, the quality of service: a charming, friendly young man who knew his menu perfectly (a rarity these days) and who reacted perfectly when we complained about the noise from a group, offering to move us to a different table. A truly wonderful, gourmet, and attentive evening – congratulations!

16/09/2026: Very disappointed... The drinks ordered before the meal only arrived halfway through after I had to ask three times. Not to mention they forgot the bread. A shame, because the setting is nice and the food is good.

15/08/2026: Nothing to complain about. Or rather, yes. Everything was perfect, the setting is delightful, you can see the lake from the terrace. The dishes are very good and offer excellent value for money. The service is impeccable. For those reading this review: This establishment was taken over in 2025 and has been constantly improving ever since; you can go there with your eyes closed. We dined there in August 2026. €150 for 3 people including aperitif, wine, etc. (the works).
