01/12/2025: We appreciated the setting of a former military fort, and the very professional and friendly welcome. The dishes served were truly excellent, and it was a real treat for the taste buds. A wonderful discovery, and pleasantly surprised for our first time at this beautiful and excellent restaurant. We will be back. 👍

19/11/2025: We celebrated our wedding at Fort de Mons and everything was perfect. The venue is stunning, the meal was delicious, and the organization by Jonathan and his team was incredibly professional. Our guests loved it, and we were able to fully enjoy our day thanks to the seamless, discreet, and perfectly coordinated service. A huge thank you for your attentiveness and dedication from beginning to end. We highly recommend them!

14/04/2026: This is a sweet restaurant tucked into a barrel vaulted space of quaint proportions. The food and service were great, and I enjoyed a truly delicious vegetarian cheese raviolli with a yummy truffle/mushroom sauce! The only drawback is the front door kept opening automatically any time anyone was anywhere near it, and as we were seated near the door, I was chilly. The delicious, satisfying hot pasta, warm bread and good wine went a long way to overcoming any discomfort, though, and I would be very lucky to enjoy dinner there again.

13/04/2026: The manager was very attentive. We had a great dinner, a very pleasant atmosphere, and we enjoyed ourselves. When everything closes early in France, this restaurant was open and very customer-oriented.

18/03/2026: A great place to stop in Épinal, offering excellent value for money: the welcome, the presentation, and the quality of the food. We wish we could find more restaurants like this in France!

14/03/2026: Probably the best restaurant we visited on our vacation in epinal. The plates are original, home made and big. For a higher level of cuisine, im suprised that you get a lot on your plate (lots of vedgetables to, in contrary to most restaurants in france). Unlike most high cuisine restaurants, you wont leave this place with hunger. Service is very friendly Oh and the coffee is from an italian coffee machine. Perfect!

11/04/2026: April 11, 2026. If the art of plating had to have an ambassador, this young chef deserves the prize. The dishes arrive so beautiful that you almost hesitate to touch them. Once you overcome your initial apprehension, the beauty fades into the background, revealing sublime flavors. Everything is wonderful: the service is simply gentle and attentive. 21/04/2026: Perhaps just an off day, or is this just how it is? The service was far too slow... after an hour and 15 minutes, we finally managed to eat six gratinated oysters with way too much cheese on top! A €40 meal for six gratinated oysters, a grilled sea bass, and a tarte tatin... That's outrageous value for money for food that was far from exceptional! It's no wonder the industry is struggling. We've had better lunches in Bouzigues at other restaurants.

26/04/2026: Easy parking, easy wheelchair access. The charcuterie board is very good, the marinated lamb is incredible. Best enjoyed on a sunny day with the terrace overlooking the canal. I wasn't a fan of the floating island dessert and witnessing the bartender being reprimanded by his manager was an awkward situation that I didn't appreciate.

24/04/2026: If you want to enjoy authentic French cuisine on the Canal du Midi, with super friendly service in a fresh, modern atmosphere, then this is the place for you. We had a fantastic evening!

04/03/2026: A very good experience at this small country restaurant. We were in a group, and we ate very well; the cuisine was refined, and the dining room was quiet. The service was a little slow, but that's probably due to the size of our group. I highly recommend it.
