30/12/2025: A delightful gourmet evening. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, as it's difficult to find an open Sunday evening in the area during the off-season. Rather unassuming from the outside, and somewhat rustic inside, the interior is anything but. The owner and chef herself served us and explained her dishes. There were three appetizers, three main courses, and three desserts. In my opinion, the food was Michelin-star quality and definitely among the best I've ever eaten. The onion soup and dessert were particularly excellent. My main course was also incredibly flavorful. The wine recommendation was also very good. We were all very pleasantly surprised.

10/12/2025: Excellent restaurant in Narbonne-Plage. Very warm welcome, menu explained in detail, and the food was absolutely delicious. Superb service, a delightful experience. Reservations recommended as the dining room is small this time of year; you won't be disappointed.

20/11/2025: I was cycling across France and had a wonderful stay at this castle. You're personally greeted by the owner. The castle is still in the family's hands, and they live entirely off tourism! Many castles have been sold and are no longer open to the public. But this one is. Everything is still original and actively used. I highly recommend this place. I was amazed to find something like this still exists! I wish the family all the best.

18/10/2025: What a magnificent place just 30 minutes from Angers! We were looking for a place to spend the night, and for the price of a room in a chain hotel in the center of Angers, we found this timeless place. The garden is immense, the sunrise at 7:30 a.m. over the park is majestic, the bedding is perfect, and the welcome is warm. I highly recommend this destination and will definitely return the next time we're in the area.

The seafood sauerkraut was delicious, and the royal couscous was equally excellent. We highly recommend this place. Thank you for this great find.

06/07/2025: Tmm, that was awesome. The savory creps were a very balanced combination of different ingredients, and the sweet creps were so delicious that they made a terrible noise. I actually had to laugh because they were so delicious. The waitress was very friendly and handled the language barrier well, and she spoke good English. So if you're in the mood for a crepe and you're in Quimper, go for it. It's worth it, and by the way, it's in a cozy spot. Tmm.

01/02/2026: Finally, a restaurant worthy of the name, where Metro doesn't belong. An old building, beautifully restored, blending modern and traditional elements with great charm and class. Everything has been carefully considered, from the furniture to the tableware and the lighting. As for the cuisine... a delight for our taste buds. The chef has boundless imagination, delighting us with every dish. Regarding the staff... discreet, smiling, welcoming, and highly professional. An unforgettable experience that we can't wait to repeat in March.

16/02/2026: A memorable experience—but not for the right reasons. We were treated to a waiter who was completely off the rails, launching into an endless tirade about the menu, a mix of failed stand-up comedy and a blatant attempt to inflate the bill. With each pass, he added a new joke of almost experimental crudeness. We no longer knew if we were in a restaurant or being held hostage in an interactive show. The high point: he puts down the casserole dish, explaining that it's dangerous and that if we get burned, it's our own problem. The atmosphere was tense. We were torn between nervous laughter and a health inspection. The cassoulets are good, yes. Thankfully. But everything else screams tourist trap: high prices, a painful experience, awkward service. The restaurant technically does its job, but the desire to return is nonexistent. Local here: I won't be back. And please, rein in that waiter.

16/02/2026: A very charming restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, truly ideal for a romantic date. We had a wonderful time from beginning to end. A huge thank you to our waitress Barbara, who was lovely, attentive, and very responsive to our needs. Her recommendations really made a difference to our experience. We started with a plate of foie gras, which was absolutely delicious. My partner opted for the Kobe beef, recommended by Barbara, and it was a superb discovery. The meat was flavorful and perfectly prepared. I chose the scallops, which were excellent, enhanced by a delicate saffron flavor. A truly wonderful experience that we highly recommend!
