17/04/2026: We went to see the Vercors en Lumières (Vercors in Lights) and chose to spend the night and have dinner at La Ferme du Bois Barbu. The welcome was fantastic—simple, friendly, and welcoming. The chef created a superb, customized dinner menu for us; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and generous, featuring homemade products. Perfect for starting the day. We highly recommend this establishment. Thank you for the directions for the Rocher du Serpent (Serpent Rock) hike.

The terrace was lovely with the beautiful weather we had. We really must come back, and not in 12 years this time.

The exceptional setting; the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes, the flavors of the food, the service, the wine list, and as a bonus, we had a visit from the chef and owner who took the time at the end of our meal to chat with us. Very friendly. Wonderful memory. If I could give it a 6, I would.

However, the set menu, composed of tapas-style dishes (3 to choose from a varied and appealing list), is very generous, flavorful, original, and aromatic. In short, everything is delicious and relies solely on Antoine, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. And frankly, he's an artist, present from the moment you arrive and throughout your stay, full of attentiveness. If you're considering it and let yourself be convinced, then rest assured you'll be back!

The very friendly owner does everything from serving to cooking, and the food is excellent; the grilled octopus is to die for. This unique restaurant is well worth a visit to savor the dishes. No frills or showy pretension here, just pure culinary delight.

27/04/2026: The food was very good. But don't be in a hurry. There was a long wait. We didn't have time for dessert and waited 30 minutes for coffee.

12/04/2026: Warning! The portions are absolutely enormous (much to our delight)! Even the ravioli gratin (listed as a starter) could easily be considered a main course. A tarte flambée usually doesn't fill me up, but these were also quite large. The portions are incredibly generous and delicious. And the prices are more than reasonable. It was such a joy to see the chef emerge from the kitchen with a big smile, asking if we were enjoying our meal, while simultaneously offering us a serious challenge: to finish our huge portions, which we certainly wanted to, given how delicious it was. A fantastic way to end our hike!

17/04/2026: We'd barely arrived when we were told to only stay 15 minutes 🤔💁🏻‍♂️ A worker was applying products to the facade, wearing a large protective mask to avoid inhaling the harmful fumes, but working just one meter away from the customers on the terrace 🤷🏻‍♂️ And to top it all off, he did a little sanding of those harmful products, still right near the customers. If you're wondering what the special touch is in what they're serving you, don't ask the owner, ask the worker 😉

13/04/2026: I came today with my partner for his birthday. We received a very warm welcome, the interior is superb, and we ate in a vaulted room with magnificent stone walls. We ordered lamb shank with mashed potatoes and baby vegetables, and I had foie gras with mango, risotto, and baby vegetables. For dessert, we had pineapple carpaccio with vanilla and a lemon meringue dome, accompanied by a small glass of wine. The meal was simply exceptional. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend it, and we definitely plan to return to eat on the terrace or even in the dining room.
