19/09/2026: I'm revising my review because the experience during the tourist season is nothing like the off-season... 1: A discovery for us locals, who are disheartened by some local restaurants. The food is well-prepared, generous, and very good value for money. Almost like a bistro. There's a lot of care put into the dishes served. For locals who are tired of foie gras and other duck breasts, or ready-made meals from Metro, the menu offers some great options like Thai-style tuna, a sublime perfect egg, and fish! For duck lovers in all its forms, you'll be well catered for as well. A pleasant spot, with a terrace and air conditioning, 2: We returned in August with guests from our gîte, certain we would treat them… Total disappointment, and a bad image for our 5-star gîte: the portions were much smaller (half-portions), the presentation of the dishes was appalling, the service was catastrophic… no menu, no bread… mistakes with the drink orders, the staff were running around like crazy 🙈 We waited 20 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation, and above all, a huge disappointment with the dishes served, which had switched to "tourist" mode: same price but nothing on the plate! Nothing like what we had eaten before. A big disappointment then… for us and our guests! A good restaurant should be good all year round…. Another restaurant in Le Bugue and Les Eyzies that will be blacklisted…

15/09/2026: Absolutely delighted! Everything was delicious and piping hot. Very good, very refined, generous portions without any fuss, and the plates were hot. And the staff were very efficient and very friendly. We were here two years ago. We'll be back! We want to try the roasted Camembert, grilled beef, and Sarladaise potatoes. Thank you to the team! 04/10/2026: We came as a family. My parents wanted to show us this place. It would have been a shame if we hadn't known about this restaurant. The service was pleasant and quick, the food generous, featuring local products and meats cooked in a wood-fired oven. They also had a good wine list. We highly recommend it and we will be back. 20/09/2026: I have been visiting the restaurant for many years and always enjoyed an excellent meal and service. It is in the village of Saint Saturnin de Lucian a 45 minute walk through the vineyards from Jonquieres. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere is great. Booking is essential

13/09/2026: Fantastic find in Montpellier! I tried the bacon pancake with avocado and a poached egg: less than 10 minutes from ordering to the arrival of my dish! The staff were efficient and friendly, the spot was lovely and shaded, and the dish was generous and delicious: the guacamole and cream cheese were very flavorful, the pancakes were fluffy and thick, and the bacon was perfectly crispy and plentiful! I couldn't even try the sweet pancakes: my happy stomach was already full! I'll definitely be back! 🥳

03/06/2026: An ode to real cuisine, when a chef's passion awakens weary travelers. After a two-hour TGV ride from Lyon and a grueling thirty-minute walk to the hotel, fatigue was setting in. We all know that lazy temptation: skipping dinner, nibbling on a piece of processed plastic, or giving in to the ease of yet another soulless, standardized takeout. Fortunately, the intuition of the receptionist at my hotel led me to an address just a short walk away: Que pour les gourmands (Only for Food Lovers). A promise, she whispers, where customers always return with a smile on their face. I can confirm, and how! Crossing the threshold without a reservation and being greeted with such kindness and immediate authenticity is already the beginning of the journey. Faced with a menu of incredibly tempting choices, hesitation is a delicious torture. My heart first melts for the starter: duck spring rolls. The plates arrive, veritable spring paintings. Visually, it's a marvel of contrasts, but it's in the mouth that the magic happens. Imagine the crisp, golden, and perfectly textured pastry that yields to the bite, releasing the richness of confit duck. The orange slices bring a vibrant, almost theatrical acidity, while the strands of spice intertwine on the plate like musical notes. It's a perfect balance, pure poetry where sweet and savory converse beautifully with a touch of sweet and sour. A boldness that instantly awakens the senses. True to my theme for the evening, I continue with the chef's variation: a revisited duck Parmentier. Plated with impeccable precision, the dish is presented as a dome of golden purée, crowned with a crisp tuile that seems to watch over the treasure beneath. The comforting sweetness of the potato, accentuated by a sprinkle of aromatic herbs, perfectly complements the robust flavor and character of the shredded duck. The freshness of a crisp salad with bursts of vegetables lightens this monument of indulgence. And then there's that suspended moment. That gesture that separates restaurateurs from artists. The chef, with pure intuition, senses my gourmet nature and bestows upon me a divine, off-menu treat: a homemade Malagasy sauce. An explosion of flavors, a journey within a journey. This unexpected wink to discerning palates proves one thing: this chef doesn't just cook, he listens, he feels, he shares. In the midst of this gastronomic communion, my gaze fell upon a wall inscription, a heart-shaped text reminding us that "the greatest wealth is family." Everything becomes clear. 20/09/2026: The experience started badly with the terrible attitude of the younger waiters, probably new hires or seasonal workers, rude, bored... I realize the job isn't exciting, but don't make those who come here to have a pleasant time pay for your dissatisfaction. If you drop your menu on the floor, pick it up and put it back together normally, without slamming it on the table. Thank you. You can even smile and apologize. Nothing happens. Thanks to the more trained staff, things went better. The dishes were good. Good value. A nice location.

24/09/2026: After a hike up Mont Ventoux, I'd spotted this place on the way up. I called a bit late, but the phone reception was warm and they informed me that it was possible to arrive until 9:15 pm—a pleasant surprise. We arrived around 9 pm, and the welcome in person was just as good as the phone reception. Despite our slightly late arrival in September, we were very well served and given excellent advice. They gave us our time. I ordered a very fresh and flavorful sashimi salad; the raw fish was of exceptional quality. My partner ordered a tasting platter with California rolls and sushi, and again, the quality was outstanding. We each had dessert, both delicious: matcha green tea and peach tiramisu and pavlova. The bill came to €64 for two, which is very reasonable considering the quality of the service and the meal. Thank you for this discovery; it was our first time dining at your restaurant, but we will definitely be back.
