30/01/2026: A truly wonderful retirement party at D'Enfer Pub! The welcome and organization were top-notch. Thank you for the service.

20/01/2026: After dinner, enjoy a pleasant evening in this pub just steps from the station, located in the Saint-Bruno neighborhood. In the upstairs room, you can play table football (there are two), and in the downstairs room, you can play darts and foosball. A trip back to the '90s is highly recommended. Note: When there's live music, it can be quite noisy.

31/01/2026: Vegetarian cuisine isn't my favorite, but it's quite good, the staff is friendly, and the setting is pleasant. I was a little disappointed today with the undercooked dishes, which I didn't find at all enjoyable. The comment was made politely, and we'll see next time. Overall, I recommend it.

24/12/2025: What a pleasant surprise! It's very, very good, homemade, and very generous portions. From the outside, it looks like a typical cafeteria, but actually, the food is excellent and the staff are welcoming.

23/01/2026: This restaurant is very pleasant and authentic. The service is quick and professional. The staff is really friendly. The prices are quite reasonable for Lyon. The homemade food is very good. I thoroughly enjoyed this place and will definitely return.

22/02/2026: Nice restaurant, but a bit disorganized. The service isn't very attentive, the starters arrive cold straight from the fridge (herring), the main courses aren't all served at the same time, and drinks are only served after the first course, etc. You get the feeling you're not valued as a customer, and the food is mediocre.

15/02/2026: A DISASTER!!!! Valentine's Day evening completely ruined! €56 menu Amuse-bouche to share with a glass of Kir Royal Starter: Pan-fried shrimp Trou Normand (apple sorbet) 2 main courses of your choice Gourmet coffee Arrived at 8 pm, glass of Kir served at 8:50 pm, amuse-bouche served at 9 pm. Okay, we weren't in a hurry, but an hour for two pieces of foie gras on toast and two pieces of salmon on toast is excessive!!!! The starter arrived... one plate for two (it wasn't mentioned anywhere that the starter was to be shared) with six shrimp on it, meaning three shrimp each!!!!! Cold and undercooked (still a slightly slimy texture). A couple of his friends each got a plate of shrimp with the sauce being drained from the pan in front of everyone!!! I remind you, the menu was €56, and that didn't include wine. Meanwhile, the owner was just yelling and shouting that it was his last shift, that he was closing the restaurant, that he'd been to prison, that his wife had left him... He was completely out of it. His friend brought him back to the kitchen several times; the waitress was exasperated, the atmosphere was awful. Then came the "trou normand" (a small glass of Calvados served between courses) with disgusting vodka. I decided to leave the restaurant. As a resident of the town, I will never go back, and I will also go and tell him to his face what I think of his unacceptable behavior when he reopens. I'm giving it one star because you can't give zero.

30/12/2025: This is our second year in a row eating there; the food is delicious and the service is great overall. Highly recommended!

12/02/2026: The restaurant owners gave us a fantastic welcome, appreciated our advice and sense of humor, and the food is superb! Refined and inventive, I highly recommend this traditional yet avant-garde bistro; its location will make you appreciate our capital!

08/02/2026: The restaurant was very good, however, the owner charged me for two bottles of wine when I only consumed one. I pointed this out to the owner, who told me it was two bottles, making it €54 instead of €27, I think, especially since the bottle costs €9.50. So, be sure to check your receipt before paying or ask for the wine list. Not a very pleasant evening, and the owner's communication wasn't very honest.

14/02/2026: Dinner with friends on a weeknight. The service was excellent, as was the food. I personally ordered the 300g rare steak, and it was delicious—very tender meat cooked exactly as I requested. I highly recommend it.

14/02/2026: Great for four of us. The fifth person didn't like their revisited tarte tatin. They preferred a baked apple… a shame. Very pleasant service.

14/02/2026: A very pleasant restaurant, always a great atmosphere. Excellent staff. I eat there when I'm traveling and the menu is always varied. They don't push you to buy more. I recommend it.

13/12/2025: It's very close to my hotel, so the choice was more dictated by convenience than anything else, but all in all, it could have been worse. The pavé de canard, which I'd recommended, should have been rosé; it was tougher than the Bombardini gusini wing, and its sauce was "unspeakable." While the (frozen) fries were edible, I didn't even try the salad after a small tomato smelled like it had come out of a butcher's refrigerator. The only positives were the house wine, a full-bodied red Côte de Rhone, and the smiling "garcon" who served in a cordial, almost friendly manner—something that's not a given when it comes to Italian-French relations.

01/12/2025: The welcome, the meal, and the staff: everything was impeccable. The fries and sausages served with drinks were delicious. What an atmosphere at the end of the evening! The cocktails and shooters are made to order according to your preferences—simply excellent. See you soon!

08/03/2026: This Michelin-starred restaurant is a true gem; a very warm welcome from the team and the chef, a talented and very friendly waitstaff, the sommelier knew how to harmonize the dishes with exquisite wines, and the dishes were simply a delight; the chef does a truly masterful job with a lot of originality in the presentation, and we also appreciated the chef's approachability.

24/02/2026: I've heard that La Mère Poulard was a Norman place to be visited and it is true: This restaurant is a must place to be visit to achieve a unforgettable visit to Mt. Saint Michael. This is an experience, as you taste tradition and history on your dish. I've had an excellent service and a delicious omelette while looking the granite of the site and an ojival arch. Best after 2:00 pm because is less crowded and you'll have time to admire the decoration including some art nouveau posters and celebrities photos who had visited the place in the past.

24/02/2026: An iconic place steeped in history, but one that relies a little too heavily on its fame. The setting transports you to another time and has seen many famous figures pass through its doors. A glimpse of the kitchen upon arrival raises doubts about impeccable cleanliness. The upstairs dining room, meanwhile, seems abandoned. The service is adequate but could be more friendly and attentive. As for the dishes, the prices are excessive, but we fully embraced the experience with two omelets and cider. We were happy to try this emblematic dish. A once-in-a-lifetime experience. It's a shame the staff doesn't put more heart into their work.

09/02/2026: Simplicity is the watchword for this bar/brasserie. The service is pleasant and quick. I came for a steak tartare and left with a raclette burger (not disappointed, but it would be good to mention that some dishes are only available at lunchtime 😉). The unapologetically rock music adds real charm to this neighborhood spot. As for the food, my meat was a little overcooked, and the tomatoes weren't great (especially in February!), but this drawback is compensated for by the very generous portions. You definitely get your money's worth here. The burger is so huge you don't know where to start. And it's great to still find good homemade fries. Ideal for drinks and food with friends.
