30/08/2024: Vriendelijke ontvangst. Vrolijke eigenaresse en haar man, de keukenprins. Personeel dat niet de hele tijd vraagt of alles goed gaat: ze zijn er precies op tijd. Alle tijd om met elkaar te converseren zonder gestoord te worden.Een sommelière die weet waar ze het over heeft. En dan het diner...woorden schieten te kort. Verfijnd, origineel, prachtige schakeringen van smaken, mooie presentatie. Een diner dat we niet snel zullen vergeten! Hotel strak en nieuw, goede bedden. We gaan zeker terug!

20/09/2024: Petite salle. Menu avec 2 plats par ligne , signe de fraicheur. Nous avons très bien mangé : plats raffinés, bien cuisinés, et suffisamment copieux. Service très agréable, et efficace. Très bon moment passé

05/09/2024: Trouvé ce restaurant par hasard lors de notre sortie à Ploumanac'h . Excellent choix, notre repas fut délicieux de l'entrée au dessert, félicitations au Chef, de plus la dame qui nous accueille et nous apporte les plats est très sympathique. Allez y les yeux fermés, nous avons pris la suggestion du jour pour 25 € et vraiment tout était bon et belle présentation des plats. Si nous revenons à Ploumanac'h , nous y retournerons.

08/07/2025: The starter was okay, if I had anything to complain about, it was just missing a touch of freshness or acidity, then the main course was dry and the chuck was undercooked, normally it comes off on its own and here it was much too dry, a shame... very nice waiter

29/11/2025: I highly recommend the Brasserie du Pont Neuf in Saint-Ambroix; it's a really pleasant, relaxed experience. The food is very good and simple, and the staff is welcoming. The prices are very reasonable.

30/08/2025: Been going there for 30 years, always great. Friendly service. Deliciously cold beer. Delicious food. Always something to see. A bit noisy along a busy main road, but that doesn't bother me.

11/12/2024: I stopped in midweek at 1030am for brunch and the place was empty but open. I was seated in the best table in the window with two leather club chairs. The decorations in this restaurant are charming and welcoming. The server was equally so. I opted for the greedy with omlette and hot chocolate. I heard the server slicing the bread after she put my order in. As she served the bread, she explained about the bread and jam varieties. I normally don't eat much bread or jam, but since they were there I tried them all. Then I was trying them on different breads and it was magical. White bread with raspberry jam was my favorite followed closely by the thick dark slice with the spiced apple. Yum. None if them were too sweet and all were packed with fresh fruit. Really great offerings! The omlete was simple hot and fresh, adorned with blanched veggies and fresh herbs. It was accompanied by a dressed rocket salad and small fruit cocktail. Everything was delicious and I especially enjoyed the interplay of sweet jam/bread combinations against the savory and perfectly seasoned omlette. And one cannot forget the generous serving of perfectly made hot chocolate. It was divine! This restaurant is well served by an obviously well conditioned team that works together well. Since I was alone in the restaurant, I could hear the conversation among them and it fills the space with a hood energy. I whole heartedly recommend this delightful restaurant if you enjoy bread and jam! My interest is also piqued for their lunch options. Bon appetit!
