01/12/2024: Very nice surprise this Saturday afternoon. Very pleasant welcome. A whole journey, from appetizers to dessert accompanied by great oenological discoveries. There weren't many people there, which allowed us to have an even more interesting discussion with the managers. Their intention, with full modesty, is to achieve the reward recognized by their peers, which is what I wish for them and which they should acquire.

We would almost let ourselves be fooled by its banal location on the edge of a main street, which could compare it to yet another winstub on the Wine Route. But as soon as you enter, you know where you are. Monsieur presents the cuisine with the meticulousness that befits connoisseurs of their own terroir. He knows, we quickly understand, the know-how of these people who work, at his home or nearby, who bring their products to the plate. The unstructured tarte flambée is a small feat from the start, we will delight in a homemade presskopf peppered to perfection, we will swoon over a dollop of low rib of beef - even if it is Italian, but here we love the 'Italy - marbled like a wagyu and simmered for hours. We will enjoy a Pinot Noir from across the street, and finally refresh ourselves with the inevitable Vacherin, made surprising by Sylvie. Bravo for your fine, original cuisine which has perfectly retained its Alsatian roots.

07/09/2024: Nous sommes allés au Montcenis pour fêter les 80 ans de notre maman. Nous avons été reçus avec beaucoup d'attention, de gentillesse et de prévenance. Nous avons profité d'une cuisine moderne, fine, légère et peu sucrée tout en étant très gourmande. Tout était parfait et délicieux ! Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour ce moment d'émotion qui nous laissera d'excellents souvenirs.
