21/09/2026: Loved the vibe and the food. Definitely go for the artichoke& truffle salad and the black cod. It was beyond delicious 😋 I don’t really get excited about vanilla ice cream but their home-made version was the best I have ever had. Just buckle up, they charge 34€ for it but it’s worth every spoon.

03/10/2026: I dined alone, and on the menu for me this evening: a raspberry Kir Royal to start, followed by a glass of Labarthe with my prepared steak tartare, accompanied by fries and a side salad. For dessert, I opted for the "café gourmand," which consisted of coffee (of course!) with banana crème brûlée, praline mousse, fig sabayon, and a scoop of strawberry ice cream: the perfect ending to the meal. The food was excellent, and the service was fantastic; the staff were kind and attentive. I would return without hesitation. After six months away from home, this was my first restaurant visit and my first evening out, and I think it will be every time. Aside from the food and the staff, parking is easy, access is convenient, the decor is lovely, and the music played throughout. There is an upstairs area, but I noticed that when we explained that we couldn't access it, the managers seated us downstairs. I didn't eat outside, but the terrace is very pleasant; I stepped out for a couple of minutes between my main course and dessert. Clearly the best restaurant in Castres in my opinion ✨ and to encourage them (good to know and important when needed), they accept card tips 😊

16/09/2026: Passing through on my bike to do the loop starting from Ugine, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this mountain refuge nestled in a beautiful setting. Facing Mont Blanc, we enjoyed a delicious plate of potatoes with smoked bacon and a goat cheese tart. Absolutely delicious! Moreover, the owners were friendly and attentive. Pure bliss! I'm already planning to cycle the Route de la Soif (Thirst Route) with them, and we'll definitely be back for another meal.

10/09/2026: A welcome refuge after a 1500m climb by bike from Albertville, finishing in the fog, at 9°C! A good, hearty omelet with a nice salad; €14, a fair price. Friendly welcome. A good place to eat.

30/09/2026: When we were at the spa in Amélie-les-Bains-Palalda, we had lunch at Françoise's – a very fond memory, the meal was delicious with local produce. Highly recommended.

23/08/2026: What can I say... I've been hearing about it for so long... It was wonderful. A unique atmosphere, it felt like home... Véronique, you're a sweetheart!! The welcome was lovely, the service perfect. And the food was so good 🙃 I loved it. I'll definitely be back.

30/09/2026: What a magical moment! We arrived without a reservation just before closing time, but we were still warmly welcomed. The menu is varied and everything looks delicious, and it was a delight! Highly recommended! Next time I'm in Strasbourg, I'll be there in a flash! You should do the same! 26/09/2026: We had a very pleasant evening at Christophe and Angele's. The dishes were all wonderful, the advice given was clear and patient, and the wines were sublime. We celebrated a birthday, which was acknowledged with a little candle and a song! I really appreciated being able to fully enjoy our evening with our friends who were visiting from the United States, as we weren't put under any pressure whatsoever to choose or finish our meals. 10/10

17/09/2026: The meal was excellent, but unfortunately, there was very little choice, as the ingredients are seasonal. The only downside, and I'm speaking on behalf of vegetarians, was the near absence of meatless dishes and the abundance of offal. This was probably due to the time of year my wife and I ate at... In any case, the dishes were excellent once again! The quality and flavor of the food were impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for a romantic evening.

25/09/2026: The appetizers were creatively seasoned and surprisingly delicious. There were mistakes in both taking orders and serving the food; there's room for improvement in service.

23/09/2026: A well-located neighborhood restaurant. We loved the dessert; it was truly divine! Delicious little homemade cheese bites. The appetizers were decent, and the main courses sounded original, but we found the salmon and pasta a bit bland. It's a shame, as the mousse on the spaghetti was quite interesting! The waitress found us a table despite our arrival without a reservation. The decor is warm and inviting, and there's a lovely wine cellar at the front of the dining room. The restaurant is not dog-friendly.

17/09/2026: A restaurant worth discovering. The staff is incredibly attentive. The gratinated mussels were exceptional, and the linguine with clams for two was simply divine. A wonderful place that I absolutely loved.
