Le Petit Glouton
Lyon-5E, Lyon
12/04/2026: Well-located restaurant. Cute decor. The food was good but not amazing. The portions were a bit small, especially the salad and the hot sausage (4 slices).
12/04/2026: Excellent bouchon! The Lyonnais menu is very good and allows you to discover Lyonnais specialties at affordable prices. I highly recommend it!

L'Essentiel

13/03/2026: Excellent restaurant. Well-deserved star. We have been going to this restaurant for many years (before the star and the change of premises) and it is always a pleasure that my grandson now shares as a connoisseur.

Auberge de la Tuilerie
Violes
29/03/2026: A very pleasant Sunday lunch with friends.
We were seated in the back room due to an unexpected turnout of customers who hadn't booked, while we had. The room wasn't particularly inviting, but it wasn't a major issue; we had a lovely time. The welcome and service were excellent, and the estate wine was superb. The meal was simple but tasty, although the cheese course was disappointing because it was very basic.
21/03/2026: A very warm welcome!
Excellent wine recommendations!
The food was excellent, I highly recommend it!

Hélène Darroze - FERMÉ
Notre-Dame-Des-Champs, Paris
09/12/2025: The cuisine is technically accomplished and the overall experience is pleasant, but it lacks a truly memorable moment. Everything is well-executed, flawless, but without any real surprises.
At this price point, one has the right to expect more emotion, which can lead to a feeling of slightly underwhelming value for money.
The service is professional and efficient, but remains rather cold and very formulaic. A serious restaurant, but one that leaves a somewhat bland impression.
30/11/2025: An exceptional evening at the heart of the Darroze universe
La Table du Chef au Marsan is well worth the detour for anyone seeking more than just a gourmet dinner. This intimate experience offers the rare privilege of stepping behind the scenes of Hélène Darroze's creative process, a leading figure in French haute cuisine.
Seating at La Table du Chef immediately creates an unusual intimacy with the culinary performance. The evening is distinguished by a generous spirit of sharing, where the Michelin-starred chef reveals, with disarming spontaneity, the secrets and stories behind each dish. Personal anecdotes punctuate the meal, forging a precious connection between the guests and the Landes spirit that permeates her cuisine.
The convivial atmosphere transforms this gastronomic encounter into a true moment of shared experience. No rigid formality here: Hélène Darroze orchestrates this evening with the warmth of a hostess receiving distinguished guests, passionately explaining the family influences, exceptional producers, and technical choices that bring her creations to life.
This immersion into the world of a great chef transcends mere tasting, offering a vibrant, generous, and profoundly human lesson in gastronomy. An unforgettable experience that fully justifies the trip.
**Worth the trip** - Not only for the excellence of the food, but for the unforgettable encounter it provides.

Crèperie La Pommerelle
La Pommeraye
10/04/2026: A very good quality crêperie with excellent value for money, I recommend it.
30/03/2026: A stop that has become a delightful ritual. Every time I go down to La Pommeraye - Mauges-sur-Loire, I find at the crêperie "La Pommerelle" a sense of professionalism, kindness, and conviviality that, as a Parisian, I regret not always being the norm, far from it, in my fair city of Paris: excellent value for money; a warm welcome with a touch of humor; great attentiveness (the camaraderie, speed, and efficiency of this small family, both in the dining room and in the kitchen, are in themselves a fine lesson in hospitality); delicious homemade food that is, a rare find, quite generous. (And the menu doesn't just offer tasty and hearty galettes.) So, it's no wonder that this crêperie, with its lovely decor, has become the must-visit spot for everyone in La Pommeraye (Mauges-sur-Loire) and the surrounding area! Remember to book in advance as La Pommerelle is always full. Many thanks and... see you very soon!

Les Plaisirs
Peillon
13/04/2026: The pleasures of Peillon are akin to a renewed sense of happiness. This restaurant infuses love into every dish. It's not just a restaurant, but an encounter. First, an encounter with a perched village. This is the initial contact, the first moment of wonder. Perched on a rocky spur, the medieval village reveals itself around a bend, nestled and proud.
Then comes the encounter with Romain and his mother, two magnificent, complementary personalities. Romain in the kitchen, with his warm and engaging manner, his mother with her tender heart. Next, an encounter with the place itself, a village house, once inhabited by the actor Claude Brasseur. A few tables are tucked away under the eaves. From the dining room, one glimpses the village through windows made of glass hand-blown by master glassmakers.
And then, of course, comes the encounter with the cuisine. Romain pours his heart and soul into it. With words as sharp as a butcher's cleaver, he evokes the local terroir, recounts the aroma of a meat, and describes with relish the delicate sweetness of his incomparable gratin dauphinois, as if he were speaking of a childhood sweetheart. Romain is an artist, a master of flavor, who likely inherited his talent from his Goncourt Prize-winning grandfather, the author Bernard Clavel. Romain plays with flavors with the same brilliance his grandfather displayed with words.
The energy of the place is unparalleled. You feel like you're part of a family, transported to another time. The price is surprisingly reasonable, considering the incredible quality of the meal, enhanced by homemade bread baked by the chef himself. Did you say perfection?
08/03/2026: So much love in every creation! You can see it, feel it, and it makes you want to come back again and again. All the dishes are delicious, the service is impeccable. The ingredients are of excellent quality. Special mention for the verbena herbal tea 🤫
Thank you so much for everything!
