18/05/2026: What can I say about this wonderful discovery! The owner and her waitress gave us a super welcome, always smiling and with a touch of humor. A very charming restaurant located outside the tourist area. The presentation is beautiful and the dishes are excellent. The wine was also perfect, and the wine by the glass is generously poured, which isn't always the case. So don't hesitate to go, but be sure to make a reservation! Excellent value for money. We had a lovely evening and we'll definitely be back.

23/07/2026: First, a warm and welcoming smile from the lovely owner. Then, very high-quality dishes with original flavors. You just have to let yourself be guided. I highly recommend it. The owners are truly charming and attentive, which isn't always the case in establishments of this caliber.

19/01/2026: Taste-wise: inventive cuisine, subtle flavors, a delight for the palate. A prestigious wine cellar: thankfully, some "accessible" prices and the option of wine by the glass, a welcome touch. Our experience: - with a bottle of white Sancerre and a glass of red to accompany game and cheese: it was perfect. Thank you to the sommelier for his recommendations. - with the Epicurean menu, although we were enthusiastic about the flavors, it did raise a few regrets: personally, I would have preferred the cheese, which wasn't included in the menu, and slightly larger portions of fish and game. My partner, who doesn't eat cheese, was offered an extra dessert (from another menu), without being offered any other choice or the option to have nothing. - The dining room, divided into several areas, offers a degree of privacy but is a bit noisy (all the tables were occupied on this Sunday lunchtime). The decor is a little cold, in my opinion (modern round marble tables without tablecloths). I will probably return to try another menu and the weekday lunch menu during the warmer months to complete my review. For now, it's a good restaurant that I recommend.

18/01/2026: I regularly eat at this restaurant, and it's really good. The service is pleasant and attentive. The sommelier is passionate. It's a pleasure to see him. It would be nice to see the chef make a round of the tables at the end of service to greet the guests. A reliable choice in the area.

04/08/2026: Always a reliable choice, with impeccable service and a warm welcome. Typical of a bistro near a train station. Ideal for a quick meal break with quality ingredients. Simple and efficient. Terrace open in good weather.

02/08/2026: We highly recommend this place near Saintes train station. The price is right, the atmosphere is friendly, and the owner is always smiling and available to help her customers! Whether on the terrace or behind the bar... We were recommended by the baker who delivers his bread, and we thank him sincerely.

12/07/2026: A very pleasant surprise that I highly recommend. A warm and friendly welcome. The dishes were carefully prepared and served with great professionalism. A delicious lunch for two that more than made it worthwhile to venture beyond the more touristy areas. We'll definitely be back.

03/07/2026: An incredible place for wine and food. We had their snacks and some wine. The staff was friendly and helpful in terms of recommendations, and the place was full of good vibes and people. The wine and snacks where really, really good!

29/06/2026: We stumbled upon this place seeking to eat lunch and intrigued about the atmosphere. We were so glad to stop here!! The food was amazing and the service was awesome. We especially liked the Tuna Tataki, the smoked anchovies, tge tomatoes with mozzarella and the chocolate mousse. There’s a very wide selection of excellent wines which unfortunately we didn’t taste as we had a long drive ahead. Super recommended.
