30/09/2026: Great restaurant in an alley offering delicious tapas, highly recommended!

29/09/2026: A small restaurant with a very pleasant street-side terrace (the street is pedestrianized), ideal for enjoying the (last) summer evenings. It seems the owner himself is serving, and he was very accommodating, whether it was asking for an ingredient removed from a dish or sharing a dessert. As for the food, I don't know to what extent our dishes could be considered "authentic," having seen panisses elsewhere that were rather round and being used to pissaladière with a thinner crust (I won't comment on the bouillabaisse), but it doesn't matter whether they were reinterpretations or not because everything was very good. The panisses arrived at our table piping hot and crispy-soft, accompanied by an aioli that truly tasted of garlic; they were absolutely delicious, much better than any panisses we've had in the past. The focaccia-style bread on top of the pissaladière was a wonderful complement to the red onion compote. The bouillabaisse, for its part, had a distinctly fishy flavor, and we were pleased to have been able to try this dish in a tapas-style format for a modest price compared to what other establishments charge. For dessert, the French toast, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and salted caramel sauce, was excellent. If we had still had room, we would have also tried the generous tiramisu that looked so tempting at the next table.

16/09/2026: Right in the heart of Roscoff, we enjoyed an enhanced aperitif of oysters and white wine (no orders taken before 7 pm, which is normal). The dishes were original and well-prepared, like the stuffed artichoke and the scallops with fennel mousseline – I highly recommend it! We were seated on the terrace (sidewalk) with our dogs, who were offered water twice. The atmosphere is created by the customers; some staff members are more attentive than others, who seem more jaded by the tourist influx.

22/08/2026: Absolutely delightful. A lovely setting on the banks of the Charente River. Friendly and pleasant, highly recommended. The dishes are piping hot, beautifully presented, and generous. A warm atmosphere with a friendly and welcoming hostess.

30/08/2026: A magnificent experience. The tasting menu was incredibly precise; kudos to the chef for his work, the quality of the ingredients, and the harmonious blend of flavors. The service was always delivered with a smile (which was very pleasant), and the wine pairing advice was perfect. Thank you to Marie for her cheerful disposition. I highly recommend this restaurant. Don't hesitate to go in; you won't be disappointed.

22/08/2026: This place remains a "First Class" address in the Fougères region. It truly has everything: chef-prepared cuisine, a friendly welcome, and a very British atmosphere (last time I was there!). Really cool.

15/09/2026: Finally, a place, a room, a mattress designed for sleeping and recharging in peace and quiet! Something that's becoming extremely rare in hotels these days! It's worth noting that room 2 (ground floor), where we stayed, has a bathroom with a large shower and a separate, private toilet, as well as a large, soft bed for a good night's sleep. The hotel is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the owners are welcoming. The hotel offers dinner (we didn't try it).

14/08/2026: Mixed feelings. The staff was understaffed: the cook and server did their best to keep everyone happy, but service was slow as a result. It was good, but nothing to write home about. Good beer selection and delightfully eclectic decor, as it should be. Reasonable prices.

11/08/2026: While passing through the area, we discovered this excellent bistro and we weren't disappointed! A very warm welcome, with truly friendly and welcoming staff and owner. 😊 The meal was superb, with delicious dishes and a convivial atmosphere. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend! We will gladly return on our next trip to the region! 🍽️

15/08/2026: A flavorful restaurant near the cathedral. The dishes are based on seasonal ingredients. The bread is particularly good, it must be said. Very pleasant service. Prices are high, as evidenced by its Michelin star. In the hidden back patio, you'll hear the smells and sounds of the kitchen, so it's up to you. The dining room is air-conditioned. A great place to eat.

27/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! We were a table of six in a full restaurant, and despite the crowd, we were served with exceptional efficiency and always with a smile. The entire team was fantastic, with a special mention for Salomé, who was particularly efficient and attentive. The crêpes and galettes were truly excellent, generously filled, and bursting with flavor. A truly great place that we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return!
