17/07/2026: ☕️ A look back at our visit to Café Bong We recently discovered this café and the place is truly lovely. The decor is tasteful, warm, and inviting. The presentation of the pastries is also very pretty, as is that of the drinks. However, we were disappointed by the desserts. The whipped cream cake, in particular, was really not to our liking. The taste and texture didn't convince us, which is a shame given its beautiful presentation. As for the drinks, they were decent, without being particularly memorable. The most regrettable aspect was the service. We found it rather cold. A smile and a little more attention to the customers would have really made a difference and made the experience more pleasant. This is a place with potential thanks to its ambiance, but a few improvements to the desserts and especially to the service would make the experience much more enjoyable.

A crispy exterior, a slightly undercooked yet meltingly tender interior. The vegetable flavor is intense. Accompanied by a spicy Asian sauce. For the main course, beef carpaccio with burrata. What can I say? A perfectly executed dish in terms of flavor. The truffle is intense at the beginning of the tasting, paired with a touch of burrata to allow the carpaccio to express its richness. The dish itself isn't heavy, but the fries and bread served alongside are a good source of satisfaction. For dessert, French toast. Designed specifically for chocolate lovers. Generously filled with cocoa, the whipped cream lightens this dessert. The brioche is served warm. The scoop of ice cream beforehand offers an interesting interplay of texture and temperature. The atmosphere is wonderful. The establishment is located right in the Parc du Griffon. The terrace is particularly pleasant, surrounded by trees. Peaceful. The service is impeccable. A bowl of olives is offered. A complimentary Dijon mustard is also provided. The black tea is perfectly satisfactory. A must-try in Vitrolles. Thank you.

18/07/2026: We came to this restaurant to spend the evening after a hard week at work. The service was very respectful and the atmosphere very friendly. The dishes looked very appetizing. The ravioli and the ribeye steak were a real treat. However, there was a slight downside. The dessert and the chips served with the aperitif had gone bad, and we were both sick the following night. Therefore, I can't give it 5 stars. I will come back to eat, but not for a very long time.

06/08/2026: The idea of ​​discovering Paris from the open air while enjoying a gourmet meal is fantastic. Especially in the middle of summer with a beautiful blue sky, everything is in place for a wonderful experience. In winter, it must be just as lovely with the Christmas lights. The food and wines served are of high quality, but I think the real highlight of this activity is the tour itself, even more so than the food (which is of very high quality, mind you, I'm not downplaying it...). Being slightly elevated by the bus's natural height provides an ideal vantage point to appreciate all of Parisian architecture and its historical monuments. The activity does come at a price per person, but it's well worth it, especially if you're discovering Paris for the first time!

04/08/2026: We had a wonderful experience. However, we didn't want to sacrifice a well-cooked, high-quality dinner for the bus ride, and that's exactly what we got. Compliments to the chef, the well-balanced and complete six-course menu. Compliments also to the dining room staff, who were meticulous, punctual, and pleasant. The bus route was magnificent, and the icing on the cake was the stop just before 10:00 a.m. in front of the Eiffel Tower, where you can get off and watch the lights come on—definitely romantic, whether you're a couple or a family. The only downside is that we booked through The Fork, and the pre-authorization is based on an adult menu (€120) even for children, who would have a separate menu (€50). We were lucky; we were able to change our fare on the spot.
