This is rare indeed; perhaps the family history of the place contributes to this simplicity amidst the exceptional moments the hotel offers. Hats off to the excellent dinner, full of gustatory surprises and intriguing questions, showcasing local produce; the wine pairing was also superb. The dream breakfast also deserves mention, though it's sadly impossible to try everything! Keep it up, keep it up, keep it up...

03/05/2026: I was delighted to have the opportunity to dine at Frédéric Doucet's restaurant. A superb menu showcasing Burgundian products. Rich, flavorful sauces that will linger on my palate. The service was highly professional, with young, dynamic, and attentive waitresses. An extraordinary sommelier who knows his wines inside and out and who respects your requests to the letter... a second Michelin star entirely deserved, with a chef who is very approachable.

13/07/2026: A great time with friends. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially the burger of the day (homemade bun, ground beef patty, smoked cheddar, bacon, roasted pineapple, and BBQ sauce). We highly recommend it.

30/07/2026: We booked online and arrived at a restaurant that was closed for holidays; we would have appreciated it if the restaurant had considered suspending online reservations so that we wouldn't have made the trip for nothing.

23/07/2026: We just left the restaurant. The person on the phone was incredibly kind. We called late, around 8:26 PM, to order dinner that same evening, about 5-10 minutes after calling. The person on the phone greeted us with a smile and was very friendly. We had a wonderful meal for our first time dining at your restaurant. The waitress and waiter were also very kind. Since we no longer add salt to our food, we found the sauce a bit too salty, but it was still very tasty. I even mopped up my entire plate with bread! The Telhouët beer was also good. We will gladly return; it was a very pleasant discovery. Thank you so much to you and your team.

23/07/2026: You read the menu and, intrigued, you make a reservation. Surprise! They've changed the menu without mentioning it on their website. So, instead of enjoying pan-seared foie gras (which was excellent, by the way), you find yourself swallowing a "tartare" of some nameless, tasteless fish in a brownish-grey marinade with an indefinable and unappetizing flavor, even if a mangled avocado tries to salvage a dish presented like it was in a dog or cat's feeding trough. Next, they suggest lobster and sweetbreads. The ingredients would be good if they weren't accompanied by a sauce so intensely lemony that you wonder if it's real lemons or dish soap. It at least has the "merit" of masking all the flavors of ingredients that deserve better. Avoid it, unless you enjoy paying a lot for unpleasant surprises. And they don't seem to realize that air conditioning is more than necessary in the current temperatures.

27/06/2026: What an incredible find just outside Montreuil-sur-Mer! Au Bon Accueil deserves every bit of its Michelin Guide recognition. You can truly taste the difference with their farm-to-table approach—knowing many ingredients come straight from their family farm makes the meal even more special. Everything from the homemade bread to the house-crafted ice cream was outstanding. Exceptional contemporary bistro cooking at incredibly fair prices. We will definitely be back!

Be warned, the photos are misleading; I thought the portions wouldn't be very large, especially for our children, but in fact, the servings were very generous!
