20/05/2026: Fantastic experience at Bougnat Burger! The burger was absolutely delicious, with a perfectly cooked steak, just as requested—juicy and full of flavor. The ingredients were fresh and well-balanced; you could taste the quality. Plus, it was very generous—definitely worth the money! The service was also pleasant, no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend it! 🍔👌

28/01/2026: For 10 years, I was a regular customer at the Auberge des Tureaux, but life's twists and turns meant I hadn't been back for 15 years. My first surprise: the chef recognized me, and so did the staff—many of whom hadn't changed. I won't deny that this was a very pleasant welcome! My second surprise: the food was still as delicious as ever, perhaps even better than I remembered, and the portions were still just as generous. In short, apart from the decor, nothing had changed, or rather, it had even improved! This makes the Auberge des Tureaux probably the best value for money in the Allier region today.

12/05/2026: What a lovely stop! We were driving between Toulouse and Angers and didn't want to eat in a mass-produced restaurant. We chose this charming place where we enjoyed a meal that felt just like home. While the dishes are simple, they are delicious and prepared with care. The welcome is very warm and the service is friendly. It's wonderful to know that, in our beautiful country, we can still find places where hospitality and meals remain moments of sharing, like here. This is a place to prioritize for anyone driving on that awful road between Limoges and Poitiers who appreciates good food.

29/04/2026: A small inn in a tiny village right next to the church. For an unbeatable price, the owners serve a delicious meal. Everything is homemade (they even deliver meals for seniors). Everything is tasty and prepared with local ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Reservations are essential as it's a popular spot. We've been several times and loved it... an excellent place!

06/06/2026: We were welcomed like family; the owners are incredibly friendly and convivial, but that's not all. I tasted one of the best white wines of my life, and I haven't even mentioned the charcuterie boards and the quality of the meats! A must-try!

17/05/2026: The presentation of the dishes was very original and appealing, BUT very disappointing in terms of taste (especially considering the €90 menu): - The savory panna cottas were tasteless, and even though the sauces added some flavor, it didn't compensate for the lack of flavor in the main ingredients; the morel mushrooms were bland, and the chicken and frog leg combination was tasteless... - Repetition in the tastings (several dishes were based on panna cotta or shallots), - Lack of complexity (in many other restaurants, different flavors appear in a single dish; we didn't experience this here). Several wines in the wine pairing were disappointing. There was no sommelier. The glasses were slightly cloudy... Finally, the portions were generally smaller than in our other experiences. There was often barely a single bite (and therefore no time to fully appreciate the flavors with a second bite). From a service perspective, we didn't like the non-alcoholic cocktail (a surprise cocktail; we didn't know what was in it) and asked for a replacement, but we were told there were no other non-alcoholic options. For a restaurant of this caliber, it's very disappointing to have no non-alcoholic choices (although they did not charge for the cocktail). We finished the bottle of sparkling water, and no one thought to refill it. We finished the bread, and we had to ask for more. As for the ambiance: not enough light to see what was on our plates. And the building is completely unremarkable from the outside, located on a busy street.

02/05/2026: Excellent cuisine from appetizer to dessert, very generous portions and very reasonable prices. A superb place to discover in the heart of the Auvergne region, surrounded by nature.
