23/10/2025: A wonderful, unexpected discovery of this lovely restaurant! It has it all: the good humor, the cheerful waitresses, the hearty and delicious dishes, the freshness of the ingredients, and the very affordable price. A great place that I highly recommend.

19/09/2024: The staff is very pleasant and attentive to people with allergies to adapt the dishes. We are served quickly even in the middle of a rush and the dishes are very good and at responsible prices, we highly recommend.

16/09/2024: Lovely little restaurant inside the walled city. Food was good and we had a pleasant evening.

21/09/2024: Our lunch was so delicious!!! Both my partner and I had a potato gratin, which is prepared fresh for each order. They were so different but both so flavourful and filling! I would suggest coming here hungry. We were also given water and bread complimentary which in Europe feels like a deal.

The place is surrounded by a lovely garden that I can't wait to explore while having lunch there when the weather is nice! 😁 Stop by if you're passing by; you won't regret it, especially at such a reasonable price!

07/05/2025: Passing through the area I was looking for a daily special, I stopped, no price displayed on the sign outside I was surprised at the final price for the daily special with a starter or dessert at €19.50. The price was not displayed outside, which is a shame, but it was displayed inside, once seated, it's difficult to leave Otherwise in terms of cuisine, it was good, the presentation was good too

03/09/2024: We had a very good stay at the hotel and the service was perfect. The 3 bikes and the car were in place and we were able to enjoy the many nearby passes and family walks in the mountains for 5 days. THANKS.

25/10/2025: While passing through on our vacation route, we asked if we could have lunch, just the two of us, with our dog. The friendly waitresses, after asking if this was possible (our dog isn't exactly pocket-sized), seated us at the back of the room in a quiet corner. We enjoyed a fantastic full menu at a more than reasonable price. Thank you for everything; it was great.

17/08/2024: A superb experience, to spend a romantic moment, with friends or family, the staff is adorable, discreet as well as a magnificent setting will easily contribute to this but that's without mentioning the cuisine which is served here! It's fresh! It's hearty! It's delicious! The quality of this restaurant is truly becoming rare and it feels good to spend such a moment of serenity! We feel really good here! BRAVO and THANK YOU.

15/12/2024: première expérience particulièrement agreable. La salle est de taille raisonable, propre, bien éclairée. La porte s'ouvre vers le mur ce qui évite l'entrée d'air froid directement sur les clients. Bien décorée pour Noël. La cuisine est simple mais de très bonne qualité. Nous avons apprécié la présentation de nos entrés (saumon et saint jacques). Le plat principal (rognons de veau sauce moutarde) cuit comme demandé avec sauce très équilibrée et surtout, j'insiste, sur la qualité des légumes frais de saison. Un plat relarquable. La Saint Jacques de mon épouse était elle aussi, remarquable. Rien à dire sur les vins (blanc et rouge) servis au verre. Une mention particulière sur le service. La jeune fille qui nous a servi a immédiatement attiré notre attention. Nous avons tout de suite réalisé qu'elle était en école hotelière: Sa tenue, son attitude, la manière de nous présenter le menu, explications sur les plats, nous a demandé quelle cuisson pour les rognons, n'a pass attendu que la corbeille de pain soit vide (restait une tranche) pour en apporter une autre, nous a tout de suite indiqué qu'il n'y avait plus de magret de canard aujourd'hui, bref une vraie professionnelle à qui nous souhaitons la réussite. Chapeau Mademoiselle. Le chef en cuisine toujours de bonne humeur en sifflant. Nous l'avons remercié et lui avons signalé la qualité du service. Certes ce n'est pas donné mais le rapport qualité prix est raisonnable. Un grand merci à tous et soyez certain que nous reviendrons. Bien cordialement. Un couple de retraités de FOURMIES.

16/11/2024: Une super expérience depuis le temps que j'en avais entendu parlé, enfin j'ai testé et adoré ! Des portions généreuses dans tous les plats, même les entrées.... petit conseil : n'hésitez pas à goûter la planche avec viande de cerf sur pierre chaude, elle est exquise.....et le gratin juste divin.... sans oublier le tartare en entrée....bravo chef ! Ne passez pas à côté des desserts.... mais je ne peux pas vous recommander un en particulier tellement le choix est varié et attrayant ... énormes coupes glacées, crème brûlée excellente, soufflé glacé et son coulis myrtilles juste sublime.... En apéro, la coupe châtaigne est originale et la bugey plus classique, toutes les deux vous mettent en appétit ....à tester absolument et sans attendre mais n'oubliez pas de réserver à l'avance ! Pour info, la resa sur internet fonctionne très bien, très pratique surtout à n'importe quel moment. A savoir que la salle peut recevoir presque 80 couverts par service mais les serveuses sont sympas, rapides et efficaces, ça fait plaisir 😁 Merci à toute l'équipe pour ce bon moment gustatif 😋 on reviendra tester la fondue car il paraît qu'elle en fait fondre plus d'un.... Si vous êtes 4, vous pouvez réserver une des 2 tables rondes en forme de tonneau, très originale !

10/09/2024: Très bon restaurant testé pour la première fois. Accueil sympathique, service soigné, cadre agréable. Les plats étaient copieux et bien cuisinés. Tout était parfait, nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Il est prudent de réserver. Attention, toutefois, le restaurant ne prend pas la carte bancaire et l'information n'est pas présente sur le site.
