06/01/2026: If you're heading up to Sant Antonino, whether for lunch or dinner, be sure to visit the Taverna Corse, located just above a beautiful square. Under a lovely pergola, savor delicious Corsican dishes (wild boar, veal, salads, etc.). From appetizers (zucchini fritters, etc.) to desserts (fiadone, etc.), everything is excellent 👌. And the young team running the place is incredibly welcoming. Reservations are highly recommended.

The meal was excellent, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients, flavorful dishes, and beautiful presentation. Excellent value for money. We particularly appreciated the attention paid to food intolerances: everything was taken into account with seriousness and kindness, which was truly appreciated. An address we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return! 😊

27/09/2026: We entrusted Mr. and Mrs. Berthe with preparing a complete takeaway menu for 35 people to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary at home with an Italian theme. They rose to the challenge: the Italian meal was excellent (appetizers, main course, cheese, and desserts). The guests appreciated the quality of the ingredients. Not only were the quantities perfectly calculated, but Mr. Berthe also ensured that everything was convenient for serving and reheating the main course. They listened carefully and provided a perfectly tailored response to our requests. This successful event has made us eager to experience his culinary talent at his restaurant. 29/08/2026: Truly lovely spot! We came here for dinner to celebrate our friend’s birthday. I heard about the auberge from my hair stylist in town and decided to give it a try for this special event based on her raving reviews. We were not disappointed! The cuisine is excellent - well considered and beautifully presented. Lovely service from everyone - this is a family-run restaurant and it’s clear that each member of the team is putting their heart and soul into what they do. We sat on the terrace, which I would recommend unless the weather doesn’t permit. Lovely scenic views enhanced the meal. We are planning to return for a lazy afternoon lunch next week!

20/09/2026: Excellent value for money, attentive service staff. We opted for the five-course tasting menu, and everything was delicious. The meat and fish were cooked to perfection, and the sauces and broths were amazing! The only downsides were that the dining room was a bit too noisy after 8:30 pm when it's full, and the white chocolate/wasabi ice cream had a slightly overpowering wasabi flavor... in our opinion.

17/09/2026: We had dinner here in the evening. The welcome and service were extremely friendly, and they really did their best to make us feel comfortable. Unfortunately, we could only sit inside (though with air conditioning), and the terrace was apparently closed. We had a delicious meal, and the food arrived quickly. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

17/08/2026: Very pleasantly satisfied. We came for lunch at this restaurant on a Monday in August. I was looking for a small, bistro-style establishment with home-style cooking, and the Google reviews encouraged me to go in. It's exactly the kind of place I like: unpretentious decor, the focus is on the food, the service, and the efficiency. A great, professional team with two charming young people who were very attentive. The waiter clearly explained the menu and the composition of each dish, and the waitress was both discreet and professional. Everything was excellent. Gravlax salmon for a starter, hake fillet, and a dark chocolate and peanut finger for dessert worthy of a gourmet restaurant. I will return as soon as the opportunity arises without hesitation. As a restaurant professional myself, I recognize a certain expertise. I recommend it without reservation. The tables next to us were also delighted. Special mention to the young waiter. Congratulations to the manager.

03/09/2026: This restaurant is located in one of my favorite areas of Schiltigheim. Place de la Liberté is very lively in the summer, and s'kästele, with its large terrace and beautiful facade, greatly contributes to this appeal. Inside, the decor is simple and welcoming, spread over two levels. I recommend the "Hugo" aperitif, a very refreshing Spritz. The menu features regional dishes, and three set menus round out the selection. There were four of us, and we all enjoyed our meals. The portions are generous; it's best to come hungry! 😉 My ribeye steak with morels was delicious, and just recently, the veal fleichkichele with pasta and mushrooms were equally good. We also tried the crispy pike-perch on a bed of sauerkraut—excellent! But a beautiful setting, a great location, and excellent food would be nothing without good service. And it was perfect. Short wait, good advice, and humorous conversation – we really enjoyed ourselves. The prices are reasonable, reflecting the quality. I highly recommend this restaurant.
