The only thing is that one of the waiters who served us was a little confused: he brought us the wine/appetizer list first when he should have brought us the menu/card first. He didn't let us taste the wine and served it directly to us, filling the glasses too much. He seemed to be in a hurry to take note. He would surely be an apprentice. The rest very good. We will repeat

06/09/2024: This was our third visit (in three years) - and our best. We had the six course surprise menu (available lunch and dinner except Friday and Saturday evening) with a bottle of champagne. The food was magnificent, and very good value. We were told that two of the six courses change every few weeks - and we didn't recognise any of the courses from our previous visits. The waiter spoke excellent English, and told us the details of each course and the amuse bouches after we had eaten them. We will be back!

03/09/2024: Unforgettable experience, very fine, refined cuisine, a journey through the flavors of Brittany revisited by modern and very creative cuisine. The service is on par with the cuisine and the atmosphere is very nice. I can only recommend.

13/11/2025: This wine bar is absolutely fantastic! The food is excellent, the prawns are to die for! And what can I say about the perfect egg with its succulent sauce? As for the wines, they're truly superb! I'm celebrating my mom's 94th birthday on Monday evening. The atmosphere is very friendly, the owners are lovely and so welcoming. Without hesitation, walk through the door and make yourself at home. Note that they don't take reservations, so it's first come, first served 😉

28/10/2025: Absolutely fantastic! This restaurant is a must-try for a perfect lunch on the sunny terrace. The welcome, service, and food are impeccable. All at a very reasonable price! Congratulations to the entire team.

11/12/2025: Dish of the day: sea bream with leeks. The leeks were sweet and delicious, but the dish as a whole, including the sea bream, was bland in both taste and color. It needed a light sauce and a splash of color, rather than just a green salad to complement the leeks. The waiter mixed two bottles of wine in the same glass. A few smiles would have been welcome to brighten up the service.

13/12/2024: Excellent time spent in complete simplicity, with a perfect welcome at the La Simplicity restaurant which lives up to its name. We had a great time, the waitress has a very good knowledge of the dishes offered, without forgetting the wine that accompanies it. I can only advise you to go and spend some time in all simplicity and taste the good dishes of YaYa.

08/07/2025: Very good, very nice presentation (originality in the food presentation) It's a shame, because the day we were there... a very, very expressive group... had also booked, and there was no possibility of privacy, only one room... if you want quiet... ask beforehand if there's a group at the same time... I recommend it.

30/06/2025: Top-notch service, amenities, and atmosphere. Regarding the dishes, some of the land-sea combinations were very daring, not necessarily for the taste. It's also a shame about the wait between courses: more than 3 hours of service under non-existent air conditioning.

02/12/2025: A delightful discovery for our only evening in Bandol. A warm and welcoming reception that continued throughout the meal. Impeccable service. We opted for the 5-course Immersion menu. The chef's creative dishes were a delight. Some truly wonderful, surprising, and delicious combinations, such as the foie gras with sardines. Beautifully presented on the plate. All this was accompanied by a fine wine list and a sommelier who offered excellent advice. We came for dinner, so at this time of year, there was no sunset, but the view over the bay must be stunning. We will gladly return if the opportunity arises. Thank you for this wonderful experience. (Hotel valet parking available.)

03/12/2025: We were lucky enough to participate in a "Challenge Your Taste Buds" evening. The team was fantastic, from the kitchen to the dining room! Special mention to Maloé for organizing and hosting the event! We discovered new dishes and wines in a fun and friendly atmosphere (even for a wine novice like me 😃, a great experience). We'd love to do it again! 🤩

01/12/2025: We came for lunch on November 27th to celebrate my 70th birthday. I should mention right away that we were the only customers during lunchtime. My wife chose the set menu, and I opted for two dishes à la carte, mainly the beef. We accompanied our meal with two glasses of champagne, which was very good, as well as two glasses of wine. The starters were decent. As for the main courses, my wife enjoyed her hake with scallops; however, I was extremely disappointed when my beef was served. Instead of a piece of beef, I received a round sample of meat, 4 to 5 cm in diameter and 3 to 4 cm high. It's very small for a piece of beef, but I would have been satisfied if it had met my expectations: seared, rare as requested, tender, and flavorful. None of that! A piece of dark meat, unappealing to look at, undercooked, rubbery, and tasteless. I didn't ask for a replacement because if, from the outset, a renowned gourmet restaurant can't serve you a decent piece of meat, there's no point in expecting more, since it should simply be seared and cooked to the requested doneness! I did mention this to the young waiter, who was otherwise perfect throughout the meal. As for dessert, it was presented with a small birthday candle on a chilled plate (frozen??). The petit fours that accompanied the coffee and herbal tea were still cold inside (again, frozen??). This is all too much for a supposedly upscale restaurant! At the register, I again brought up my beef with the owner. She showed absolutely no understanding, saying, "This is the first time I've ever heard such a comment," and I understood perfectly well that it meant nothing to her and that the problem wasn't with the food or her. So, of course, no gesture of goodwill to make up for this lack of professionalism! At over €80 per person, this shouldn't exist. Needless to say, we won't be going back! Luckily, the next day in Noirmoutier, we were able to put this misadventure behind us by discovering a small restaurant that was packed with older locals who know how to appreciate good food.

09/12/2025: A delightful and successful stopover during a long journey to Toulouse. Ideally located just outside Villefranche-sur-Saône! Reasonably priced menus, truly refined presentation. Everything is homemade, very well done, with subtle flavors. And all this with a smile from the waiter! This restaurant is well worth a visit!
