07/12/2025: If any place truly lives up to its name, it's this one. Its location in a spot frequented by visitors doesn't detract from the warm welcome, the quality of the local produce, or the generous portions: a genuine "friends' gathering." Admittedly, a touch of wheat might ruffle the feathers of 100% buckwheat purists, but a little Breizh Izel in our dishes is always welcome in Haute-Bertagne. A pure moment of sharing.

09/07/2025: I finally tried this restaurant I'd always walked past, and what a lovely surprise! Excellent galettes and crepes (special mention for the delicious hash browns), fast and friendly service - it's become so rare that it deserves to be highlighted. Kudos to your friendly staff! The only downside is that the dining room is very noisy, so it's not necessarily ideal for relaxing during your meal...

04/07/2025: Overall, pretty good: the prices are reasonable and the portions are quite generous. The welcome is just okay. The crepes are good, but plan to arrive early as it's very busy.

From the service to the food and the owner's kindness, you'll want to come back again and again! There's no children's menu, but they always find something to suit their tastes. 👍 Exceptional value for money.

07/12/2025: I'm not judging the food, which we didn't get a chance to try, but the waiter (a rather tall gentleman) behaved in a condescending, impolite, and borderline indecent manner, even following us into the street and threatening us. He simply refused to seat us, claiming there was no room (we think we know the reason for his refusal, but I won't elaborate here). When we finally managed to make a reservation online, proving to him that there was indeed space, he didn't appreciate being challenged and became angry. In short, we left, and some customers in the street who witnessed the scene. They wanted to go in, but they turned back when they saw this man's attitude. We were very fortunate to find another restaurant nearby that was much warmer, more welcoming, and better!

09/07/2025: Our family was captivated by this charming restaurant and dining experience! We were there on a Friday night, no reservation... we waited a short time and were seated outside... someone who is a regular patron of Le Louis had been waiting for this outside table, and they graciously offered it to our family of four, as we were visiting and this was our first time at Le Louis. The excellent food, the warm hospitality, the culinary knowledge, the vibrant joy, the attention, the intention, the service, the ambience... all combined for a magical experience. We dream of going back...

03/07/2025: Pleasant setting, but service slows down when busy. The server is a bit overly formal, friendly, but his appearance needs to be improved. Dry bread for the fondue, missing a few drops of kirsch would have been perfect to balance it out.

13/07/2024: Nice restaurant, charming. We ordered drinks only once, we were never asked if we wanted another round. The food is very simple. And not so exciting. Our Parisian friends did not like it very much. Cheese is one piece icecold cheese. Dessert was yoghurt with fruit. We had high expectations.

De nombreuses entrées (mention spéciale au sorbet aux petits pois), intermede ceviche/chou rave étonnant, et les plats exquis (raviole de légumes grillés et formidable lotte aux légumes). Les vins au verre sont plutot chers et peu nombreux. Addition totale 161€ pour 2 avec 2 verres de vin et une bouteille d'eau.

25/06/2025: This was one of our very favorite experiences in France! It is a new concept by the chefs who want to combine exceptional gastronomy with a warm and pleasant evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. Wonderful ambiance, fun environment, spectacular food combined with out-of- this- world wines! I wish we had skipped other Michellin stared restaurants and just returned to this one again and again!

24/06/2025: I highly recommend dining at Olivia and Mickaël Feval's if you're looking for an unusual experience in Aix-en-Provence. In the exceptional setting of a Provençal country house, your taste buds will be stimulated by the seasonal dishes from the "Menu Cézanne" currently on offer. Olivia will do her utmost to make you feel welcomed and pampered. Mickaël's dishes will surprise you! Come spend an unforgettable evening on Friday or Saturday nights, or on Thursday nights for the "wine & cheese/pâté en croute" evening. (Mickaël's pâté en croute is sublime!) 22/09/2024: Fair. There are few crepe choices on the menu. For example, there are no ham and cheese crepes offered (a basic crepe that all creperies offer) so you have to pay for a full one and remove an ingredient.
