19/01/2025: It was overall good. I expected better given the reputation of the restaurant. We still ate well. However, the starter "Lyonnaise salad" was served to us in a salad bowl for two and we had to help ourselves like in the canteen. Although expensive, the dishes are really good. The service needs to be improved on several points (kindness, listening and English).

08/12/2025: What can I say, what a discovery!! Everything was truly perfect, from the welcome to the bill :-) We had a wonderful time, the food was absolutely delicious, and we were treated like royalty even though the restaurant was packed and on the eve of the Cabanes en Fêtes festival. It's our new favorite spot around the bay.

08/12/2025: Great oyster-farming atmosphere. The food is excellent. Plenty of food and good cheer are also on offer. A great evening guaranteed.

26/06/2025: We chose the menu and it was a hit. As a starter we enjoyed a fresh salad with bacon and goat cheese – deliciously seasoned and freshly prepared. Then came the main courses: fish of the day and filet mignon, both full of flavour and perfectly balanced in terms of seasoning. We finished with an ice cream and a cup of coffee – a nice, refreshing end to a successful meal. Everything was super tasty and freshly prepared. Definitely recommended if you are in the area!

08/12/2025: No comment on the food, but the appalling quality of the service was enough for us! At 12:40 pm (with the "open" sign lit), the chef, seeing us approach, quickly gestured through the window, "Don't come in, dogs aren't allowed," without even bothering to speak to us. We weren't asking him to look after our dogs while we were on vacation (90% of restaurants accept them), but this gentleman clearly wanted to go home and didn't want to open another table... So, no doubt the chef will take pleasure, as with every Google review, in responding with contempt and bad faith. Apparently quite content with their old reputation, these restaurant owners probably make enough money during peak season to turn away customers with dogs and forget that in this business, hospitality is also part of the customer experience... And that's just as well, because it allowed us to discover, in the village, a small, unpretentious restaurant that cooks with fresh ingredients, where you're welcomed with your dog and a smile, for less than the price of "Poison d'avril".

08/12/2025: Regulars at Le Petit Roi, we were unfortunately very disappointed with Le Bistingo. At least that day, there was clearly a lack of skill in the kitchen. The poached eggs were hard-boiled; we informed the waiter (who was otherwise very friendly and responsive), and he brought a new starter. This time the eggs were cold, almost frozen. We ordered an Époisses burger, but it wasn't really made with Époisses cheese (the same sauce as the eggs, described as "cheesy" on the menu), and yet it was the same price. And there was nothing else in the burger, not even pearl onions or raw vegetables... The fries were still raw inside. A real shame.

11/12/2024: Simply excellent, and this for the 2nd culinary visit since the establishment reopened. The menu is regularly changed, which is almost a shame when you can't come as often as you would like to taste all the dishes.... Carry on....

24/09/2024: The manager and his wife are kind and welcoming. We fell in love with the Yassa-style Saly crepe which was excellent. I recommend.
