31/07/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse. The hotel is clean, modern, and in a great location with easy access to public transportation. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. A special thank you to Nada, who made our experience even more memorable. She was incredibly kind, professional, and always greeted us with a warm smile. She went above and beyond to help us whenever we needed anything. She is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out, and her positive attitude truly brightened our stay. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent hospitality. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris!

22/07/2026: My Family and I had decided to take a day in Paris after Disneyland so we could see the city of love before going home. When we checked in the concierge took the elevator with us all the way to the top floor and followed us to the penthouse suite which they had upgraded us to free of charge. Much appreciated service! The hotel seems new and nice, within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and the cozy sidewalk cafes!

09/09/2026: We were shocked by the waitress's (the owner's) behavior. She was overly familiar and made us pay for a bottle we didn't order.

03/09/2026: I'm from Strasbourg, and I highly recommend this restaurant. It's very friendly, the food is magnificent, and I especially recommend the Bouche à la Reine.

30/08/2026: It's okay, really. However, the discount promotions are a complete rip-off. You're suddenly forced to become a "member" at checkout and then receive countless unsolicited advertising emails from various subsidiaries, all of which you have to manually unsubscribe from. It's also unprofessional because the country of origin isn't taken into account, and the emails are in French. It's annoying and time-consuming to stop the flood of spam after shopping. I'd rather just forgo the discounts altogether or not shop there at all. All the other shops in the area are significantly more reputable in this regard and offer similar discounts.

26/09/2026: Excellent service. I came to buy a motorcycle nearby. A very pleasant setting, the food is plentiful and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. Everything is clean and welcoming. A restaurant to remember in Albi.

I highly recommend this place and wish him all the best for the future! One small drawback: there's no sauce or jus with the meat, so it can be a little dry. Thank you so much for this meal!

05/09/2026: Very disappointed. We made a reservation in June for September. We learned via Google that the restaurant is closed. No one called us to inform us or to cancel our reservation.

14/07/2026: We decided to return to this restaurant after four years, with great enthusiasm and the hope of recapturing the wonderful experience we had previously enjoyed. The ambiance and decor are still as pleasant as ever, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our lunch. We arrived with high expectations and hearty appetites. We left disappointed and far from satisfied. Service: mediocre and clumsy From the outset, we were asked to choose our dessert before we had even started our meal. An unusual practice, but we agreed. We quickly regretted it. When we shared our comments about the dishes, the waitress simply said, "Ah, I see," without apology or questions. The same reaction occurred when we sent the desserts back. This gave us the impression that she herself wasn't convinced of the quality of what she was serving. The starters were decent, but the rest was a disaster. The starters ranged from passable to good. However, the main courses were a real disappointment: • a tough lamb chop with an overly salty, almost inedible sauce; • a beef fillet that was decidedly not tender, even served rare, with a sauce that was once again too reduced and too salty. The side dishes were meager: a small, poorly executed rectangle of dauphine potatoes and a tiny bowl of vegetables meant to be shared between two people. This might have been acceptable if the flavors and freshness had been there, but they weren't. Desserts: a complete failure. The cherries in port served with a "panna cotta" were tasteless, and the panna cotta was a panna cotta in name only. The warm pear and chocolate soufflé was undercooked: you couldn't taste the pear or the chocolate, only the unvaporated alcohol. We left both desserts, as they were simply inedible. A hefty bill for a disappointing experience We paid the full bill, €262, despite not enjoying or finishing our meals. Conclusion The principle of a restaurant is, first and foremost, to provide good food. If you want to treat yourself, in my humble opinion, Le Sérac is not the right choice. Especially since several excellent restaurants can be found in the village: Le Rond de Carotte, Source, or, for a similar price, La Ferme du Cupelin and La Table d’Armante in Saint Nicolas de Véroce. A real shame for the culinary scene of Saint Gervais les Bains. We were hoping for at least a decent meal; unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

25/09/2026: Authentic French/Lorraine/Alsatian cuisine with a good and extensive selection of French wines. High quality at moderate prices. Pleasant atmosphere with excellent service. We'll be back tomorrow evening.

20/09/2026: Two set menus are offered. We each had two appetizers, a main course, and a dessert. The food was very, very good and very creative, and the wine selection left nothing to be desired, at least for us. I can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant, but I wouldn't risk going without a reservation. The service was very attentive and friendly. The only minor drawback is that, due to the size of the restaurant, everything is a bit cramped, but this didn't detract from the overall enjoyment.

29/09/2026: The meal was perfect, a magnificent setting with its Toulouse brickwork and grand hall with vaulted arches, very pleasant service, and above all, dishes made with high-quality ingredients in generous portions. The beef fillet with its Madeira sauce and foie gras was cooked to perfection, rare and piping hot. Thank you to the chef and the team!

10/09/2026: A wonderful discovery in Terrasson! The terrace offers a magnificent view of the Vézère River and the town. The welcome and the dishes are excellent and original. We highly recommend this lovely place. The Gauvrys

05/09/2026: Beautiful golf course less than an hour from Paris, gently rolling, with fairly long courses. It's difficult to fully appreciate it at the moment, as the fairways are very dry, and there were long queues at each hole this late morning. The golf course is generally well-maintained. The clubhouse restaurant is also pleasant.

08/08/2026: A beautiful, varied, wooded course. Few water hazards for the red tees. It's obviously suffering from the drought, like all golf courses in France right now. A big thank you to the reception staff and management, who are lovely and readily agreed to reactivate a voucher for the pro shop that I won last year in a competition before breaking my foot… I treated myself! The bar and terrace are also very nice. See you soon!
