If you're looking for exceptionally high-quality mussels, look no further: LA MOULE EN FOLIE is "The Place To Be". Everything was absolutely perfect: On the plate: The mussels were succulent, plump, and perfectly prepared. And what can I say about the fries... authentic Belgian-style fries, cooked in beef fat. Absolutely divine! You can taste the passion for the product. The atmosphere: A fantastic welcome that immediately puts a smile on your face. A huge congratulations to the owners: Monsieur works wonders in the kitchen (a true chef!), while Madame provides impeccable service with boundless energy. Special mention also goes to the waitress who was lovely and attentive throughout the meal. You feel good, you eat (very) well, and you leave with only one desire: to come back! 07/05/2026: The restaurant’s interior is very beautiful, the atmosphere is pleasant, and I really enjoyed the desserts and coffee. That’s why I decided to stay for the main course as well. But there was one thing that spoiled the experience a little: whilst I was eating my dessert, the cloth napkin was taken away from the table, so I didn’t even have anything to wipe my mouth with. I had to ask for a napkin separately for the main course as well. I ordered the vegetable risotto. Overall, it tasted very good, but the carrots and cauliflower were very tough, as if undercooked. Perhaps this is a feature of the recipe, but for me the texture was too hard. Otherwise, it’s a really lovely place, and you can tell that the food and presentation are done with care.

08/06/2026: Everything was perfect, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We tried almost everything on the menu, and it was all excellent. The only minor point for improvement concerns the sauces: we ordered the foie gras and pepper sauces, and it would have been helpful to have a small label or marker to distinguish them. We often mixed them up and used them by mistake. Aside from that, the experience was excellent.

Simple, generous, and above all, entirely homemade regional cuisine: everything was delicious and makes you want to come back to try the rest of the menu. Special mention to the servers, who were only two for the entire dining room, yet the service was quick, efficient, and always with a smile. We hadn't even made a reservation, but we were warmly welcomed without hesitation, and it's truly a pleasure to see such welcoming restaurateurs. We were seated next to Joël's table—if I understood correctly, a regular—and what a character! He made us laugh. It's exactly the kind of atmosphere we love to find in a restaurant: smiling, warm, polite people who don't hesitate to chat and joke with the other tables. You simply feel good here, like you're at home. A place we'll gladly return to! Our first time here today, and certainly not our last! Congratulations again to the two servers and the kitchen team!

Initially, the exterior might raise a few eyebrows, but as soon as you step inside, the welcome is perfect, the decor tasteful, and the service both efficient and high-quality. The dishes are excellent, generous, and showcase local produce. A true gem that you absolutely must discover.

24/05/2026: The staff were friendly, no complaints there, but the service was very slow; we were completely forgotten between the main course and dessert. The food was very good but the portions were small, and the desserts were far too sweet.
