13/09/2025: Beautiful terrace Homemade cuisine Top-notch service

11/09/2025: Have cycled through the area for 20 years and have never been there before. The restaurant is located on one of the small roads leading out of town a few hundred meters from the center. We happened to pass by and decided to have lunch here. Chose the menu of the day. 3 courses. Starter. Homemade terrine. Main course. Leg of pentade with fig sauce. Dessert. Tiramisu with apricot. Nice presentation. Absolutely delicious. The hostess. Sweet, friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere. We sat outside. In a quiet and shady area, with quiet guests. It seemed cozy. Highly recommended as a good place to visit if you come to town.

27/05/2025: Booked a restraunt table for 2pm. Staff very attentive and the food was fabulous. Even had a little boogie outside with DJ playing afterwards. Would have popped in everyday if I could 😍

02/07/2025: We eat very well at La Chaumiere, generous portions, everything is fresh, just ask and they prepare the dish as you prefer, for example, with a sauce on the side, very fresh and very well-cooked fish... kindness and flexibility If you want something else, we come back every time we're on vacation.

15/12/2024: Disappointing unfortunately. After a good start with the aperitif and appetizers, the rest of the meal proved disappointing. Not that the food is bad, but we were very rarely served in batches (5 for me, 6 for my husband for the entire meal). We ate our meat and mogette with a fork... Too bad for a restaurant specializing in fouées. We must have come on a bad day.

14/12/2024: Bad experience for us: the big weak point remains a deplorable welcome, unpleasant staff who make us feel like we are bothering them: waitress who blows when she comes to serve us, makes remarks to us all the time, allows us to replace the glasses judged to be poorly positioned by our children… No smile, no sign of politeness whatsoever. My partner even ended up remarking on it, saying “How kind! ", she then told us that she was indeed closed, because she had understood "What agility" and thought that we were making fun of her... We did not really understand her meaningless explanations, being given that the welcome was deplorable from the moment we entered: we arrived with 5 young children and an 8-month pregnant woman, we were actually 10 minutes early, and they made it clear to us that this was bothering them at the time. more to the point: we think that this is the starting point of this truly disappointing service. Quantities noted in the formula not respected (drinks in particular), moreover no one explained the principle to us at the start, which is a great shame... The food was good but not exceptional for the price paid, which we considered very high in relation quality/price. We are generally disappointed and the rating is mainly based on the service and not the meal itself…

28/09/2024: Hello.. Very disappointed with this place. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to taste their cuisine. Having reserved a table of 4 during our stay, we were given a pitiful table between the kitchens. Noisy and cold as a restaurant location. We called this nice waitress to explain to her that our friend was suffering from cancer and that she couldn't stand drafts. The boss, I think very unpleasant, refused to change tables. I find it unacceptable to find yourself on the sidelines without any consideration, like outcasts near the kitchens.. Lamentable and disappointing, in short I advise you against it

28/09/2024: Recommended by one of this restaurant's acquaintances, Nenin. We booked yesterday for the evening of September 28. First approach correct, but arrangement of our seats in a veranda at the entrance to the kitchens (noise, noisy cooks...). Being sick with a brain tumor, we told the very friendly waitress that we were sick and that we might get cold. She claims to make sure the back door is closed... First pass was the ventilation. The waitress went to see her boss, and despite his explanations we had to stay in this veranda. We left the place. Too bad for this lack of tolerance, 4 customers definitely absent.

29/10/2025: Excellent food and top-notch service with a magnificent view of the harbor. You can go there without hesitation. We will gladly return.

13/09/2025: We had a few hours to kill before a flight so chose Le 3e for a lazy lunch - what a fantastic choice. The service was great and dining whilst overlooking the Cote d’Azur is always a pleasure. We chose the Chef’s selection lunch menu - which included 3 courses, a glass of wine and a coffee for 55€. To start we had a delicious prawn and black garlic carpaccio - a work of art. For main course it was Sea Bass - cooked to crispy perfection - and placed upon a deconstructed moules-frites with fondant style potatoes, mussels, shallots and a foamy buttery sauce - absolutely to die for. Then to finish we could choose a desert off the a la carte menu - so we tried the hot chocolate and caramel cookie with ice cream. Which I can only describe as heavenly. The glass of rosé we had included was very nice (4.1 on vivino) and the wine list seemed fairly priced for the location. Having just spent 10 nights dining in Monte Carlo I would put this food up there alongside anything we had there - not just technically but in flavour. And the lunch menu is phenomenal value for the quality of the food. Congratulations to the chef and the team - we will return.

26/08/2025: My favorite secluded spot in Nice. Perfect for relaxing after work. It's not on the street, but away from all the noise, yet right by the sea. The staff is friendly. The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is spotless and generally quiet. There's also live music on summer evenings. If you're looking for Eros Ramazzotti-style music, delicious wines, and copieux plates, you should definitely try it.
