25/05/2026: We stopped here between champagne tastings to have a quick launch. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We ordered a croque monsieur and a beef plate, both were average, nothing special. The fries were too oily for our taste. We also had a small croquette with asparagus and cheese that was absolutely delicious. We paid around €50 in total (no wine only 1 coke, 1 coffee and tap water). Our small dog was welcomed!

07/04/2026: I'm just offering my opinion, even though our visit was a few years ago. I ordered wine by the glass, and after my white wine was served, it had a strong corked smell. I mentioned it to the person, I think the sommelier, who responded disdainfully, saying that if the people at the table "over there" didn't say anything, it must be good. I found her comment very... "you don't know anything about wine," and after some time, with my insistence, she finally agreed to take a closer look at my glass, which was replaced after she noticed the problem, without an apology or anything. All this to say that any customer, even if they seem uninformed, might be a better connoisseur than a table of self-proclaimed experts.

10/06/2026: This place is as beautiful inside as it is outside. The location is simply magnificent, with its view of the Auvergne mountains. As the sun sets, the place becomes even more magical. And what can be said about the village of Salers, with its ancient stones and medieval atmosphere? As for the hotel, it pays a beautiful tribute to the surroundings. Excellent in every way, the on-site restaurant is of very high quality, all served by a dynamic and friendly staff. A truly beautiful image of France!

02/06/2026: We enjoyed the spa for two hours. The welcome was truly exceptional, filled with kindness and attentiveness. The facilities are very welcoming and clean. We had a wonderful time, with a beautiful view in a peaceful and rejuvenating setting. I highly recommend it.

24/05/2026: A restaurant that may not look like much, but aims for a friendly, unpretentious atmosphere. Peanuts are already on the table when you arrive, then you're offered an aperitif of your choice, followed, of course, by a choice of choice, high-quality cuts of meat cooked over charcoal. The side dishes are homemade. The service is warm, friendly, pleasant, and humorous. The only slight drawback is the time; if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you. Here, you need time to appreciate and savor the experience.

14/05/2026: What a disappointment at lunch at the Auberge de la Touques! The quality and quantity of the food were lacking. The white asparagus was stringy and too firm, despite the €17 starter. The sea bass fillet was ridiculously small for the price, as was the side dish, and everything was served cold! The lamb chops arrived undercooked… As for the "gesture of goodwill," it amounted to a single complimentary coffee, even though there were three of us and the bill was over €200. Apart from the pleasant setting by the river, nothing was right. What a disappointment at lunch at the Auberge de la Touques!

10/05/2026: Lunch on a Sunday during a long weekend, pleasant service, well-prepared and thoughtful dishes, €33 set menu offering good value for money (starter + main + dessert). Note that the aperitif menu is relatively expensive. Worth trying! 😀

04/05/2026: Probably the best bar in Nîmes; Anthony is an excellent bartender 🙏🏼 Cheap beers, two-euro pool, and free darts: what more could you ask for?
