01/08/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! The €40 menu offered us a delightful culinary experience, from the amuse-bouche to the petit fours! There was a great deal of creativity throughout our courses, such as the perfectly cooked red mullet paired with beetroot and strawberry, or the house classic for dessert: praline soufflé with peach sorbet, a perfect hot-and-cold combination. A feast for the eyes and the palate! The staff, despite being very busy, were incredibly attentive. A fine wine list, curated by a sommelier with excellent recommendations. In short, a very good restaurant, orchestrated by a young chef who shares his passion for fine cuisine, and with a promising future. I will definitely return to Le Chardonnay on my next trip to Clermont-Ferrand.

31/07/2026: When the gray skies cast a pall over the start of a visit, LE CHARDONNAY is a beacon of hope. The welcome and service are warm and friendly, and while the lunch menu is a set menu, it's excellent (green bean salad with tomato toast and fresh anchovies, veal onglet with potato cake, and a superb lemon-verbena mille-feuille). Bravo! Special mention goes to the decor, particularly the large, tastefully furnished curved bookcase. This restaurant is featured in the MICHELIN Green Guide, and deservedly so.

01/08/2026: It feels like visiting a quiet country house or a regular restaurant. Try the daily special. It was so delicious that I couldn't take a picture of the menu, so I only managed to take one of the dessert. I highly recommend the dessert as well.

30/07/2026: The waitress was very friendly, but the wait was extremely long. 45 minutes for 5 courses, and there were only two of us at the table. It's a shame because the area is quiet and pleasant, and the waitress was kind.

15/05/2026: Really great hotel with very affordable prices. The beds are super comfortable and the shower is really great.

12/05/2026: I highly recommend the Campanile Nature Rodez: a quiet, pleasant location surrounded by greenery, comfortable bedding, a very nice room and bathroom, and a good sweet and savory breakfast. My only real regret: no dinner service, only advertised frozen meals. So you have to plan to eat out and drive, even though there are restaurants nearby. A shame, especially when compared to the Campanile in Auch where the food is cooked, good, and the restaurant is always full. Here, in the evening, everything seems a bit empty… What a pity, because the place has enormous potential.

24/07/2026: I came with my partner from the restaurant Le Vieux Clocher without a reservation. There was a half-hour wait (there were only two tables set where people were having lunch). No problem, we wanted to sit down for a drink while we waited, yes, in full sun even though there were shaded seats available. We were clearly bothering them, so we apologized for disturbing the waitress and left. Honestly, I don't recommend this establishment; they don't seem to want to work, or they should change their staff. She's about as friendly as a prison guard. What a shame...

18/08/2026: The menu is dominated by average burgers and salads. The location and atmosphere are good, but I would have expected more local specialties at this location.

18/08/2026: It was perfect, the staff were helpful and nice. The foods and drinks were tasty. The only problem was that the restaurant was in the Main Street to enter Èze old town, so the crowd was little disturbing. But in Èze this is the best place to eat!
