30/07/2026: It was simple and excellent, a friendly setting, a neighborhood restaurant atmosphere, and good meat!

27/06/2026: The entrecôte maître d'hôtel was delicious! Very tender, a real treat. Served with fries and salad. The steak tartare: avoid it! Meat, shallots, and a sauce that resembles vivigrette: all mixed together! Luckily, there was Tabasco and fries to make it palatable. It's not a tartare, and it's not good. It spoils the experience, even though the rest is good, having been several times. The staff is very helpful and friendly; the waitress is truly professional and very nice.

13/07/2026: I'm not one to leave negative reviews for restaurants. Generally, if I don't enjoy an experience, I simply don't go back. My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant about ten times. Admittedly, the food is always excellent, probably some of the best in Valras in terms of quality and taste. However, I've never found the owner particularly welcoming. Yesterday, I fainted on the beach, right across from the restaurant. Still feeling quite unwell, I asked if I could use their restroom just to splash some water on my face. The owner told me the toilet was blocked and sent me away without the slightest empathy. I didn't insist and left. So it's not the food I'm criticizing, but the lack of humanity I experienced at a time when I simply needed a little kindness. It's deeply disappointing.

06/08/2026: We arrived without a reservation and were warmly welcomed by a friendly waitress. I highly recommend the carpaccio, which is available as a starter or a main course. The presentation was beautiful and the dish was delicious! 🤩

18/06/2026: Fantastic meal. I rediscovered the taste of my grandfather Henri's garbure, who passed away 20 years ago. The same taste, what a joy! It was also wonderful to still find, in 2026, a daily special for €16.50 including: Garbure Charcuterie Dish of the day (it was fish with sauce and eggplant gratin) Homemade dessert: a fabulous homemade Basque cake with cream The owners were incredibly welcoming, and the service was quick, friendly, and efficient. I loved it! I'll be back, thank you!

13/08/2026: August 11, 2026. As a family, we were looking forward to going to this restaurant. It looked promising in the photos. Once there, it indeed looked nice and well-presented; the menu also looked fine, with something for everyone. I saw several steaks listed on the menu. I do like a hearty piece of meat and decided to order one. Not much later, the order was served. I had asked if they could make the steak medium-rare. So, I expected a nice, warm, tender piece of meat. This was a huge disappointment. The steak was not tender—it had a huge amount of tendons in it—but what I found particularly bad is that it was simply cold. As if it had been placed on the grill for 2 seconds on the left side and 2 seconds on the right side straight out of the fridge. This bothered me greatly. I regularly eat steak at various restaurants abroad while on vacation. And for that price, I expect a good piece of tender, warm meat. Unfortunately, it was a waste of the meat and my money.

23/06/2026: A delightful discovery! We first went there by chance and returned three times during our stay. We were thrilled with the quality of the food. A symphony of flavors; you can tell the chef and his team cook with passion, using excellent ingredients to enchant our taste buds. We received a very warm welcome from the entire friendly team. Michèle, the owner (who even concocted superb custom cocktails for us), and Nathalie in the dining room also shared their good humor and kindness with us. A big thank you!

07/08/2026: Having visited in 2024, we had very fond memories of the restaurant. What a disappointment yesterday! No mussels in peak season, no fish fillets, only informed of the missing dishes when we ordered after our aperitif, and stuck with a selection of dishes starting at €25 with small portions. The waiter brought us coffee before we'd even started our meal, and a cook left the kitchen mid-service… In short, victims of their own success!
