Children and dogs welcome. Books, chairs, and games are available. Several terraces. Exceptional outdoor setting, with a lake just 20 meters away, nestled in the mountains. Starting point for various hikes. Several parking areas, but finding a space at 1 p.m. during peak season can be difficult. Reservations are recommended. Group bookings are possible, and evening entertainment includes talks, debates, and concerts. In short, a great find. A refreshing escape into nature and easy access to the mountains.

13/03/2026: A wonderful experience at this restaurant, which I had previously visited when it had a Michelin star. The second restaurant has reopened and it's truly delicious. The staff is very professional, especially the woman who looked after our table and offered excellent wine recommendations. A minor drawback was the portion sizes. They were far too small. €38 for the fish course and €40 for the scallops; the portions were truly minuscule. We were still hungry after dinner. This definitely needs to be addressed!

12/03/2026: The employee was very friendly. The owner, however, was rather grumpy and not very nice to the employee; it was a bit unpleasant, to be honest. The food, on the other hand, was very good.

25/02/2026: I love this restaurant! The 1930s brasserie atmosphere is incredible, and the waiters, especially Xavier and Jeremy, are always very friendly. The food is also very good, and the market dishes are always very well chosen. It's a true institution.

21/02/2026: We had a reservation at this restaurant and arrived with our dog. Upon arrival, we were stopped outside and clearly refused service because of his presence, even though our small dog weighs 4 kg. No prior exception was made, nor was any solution offered, despite the 30-minute drive. If pets are not allowed, this should be clearly stated at the time of booking. Refusing service to customers on the spot, despite a reservation, is unacceptable. We had to leave without being able to have dinner, with a feeling of complete disregard. A very disappointing experience and a clear lack of professionalism. Following your response: What you seem to be missing is that I'm not criticizing you for not accepting dogs; you have every right to refuse them. It's the way we were treated, knowing that we had a reservation, that we had to be on time or risk not being served, and that we had traveled a long way! So yes, I don't allow dogs in my salon, but sometimes you have to make an exception to best satisfy your clients, especially since we didn't have an Argentinian Mastiff! Now, dear sir, the treat wasn't very generous with us! And that's what reviews are for. Have a lovely day.

27/02/2026: The positives: quality ingredients, friendly and efficient service. The disappointing points: exorbitant (and prohibitive) prices, the temperature of the galettes (the two Norman galettes arrived barely lukewarm), and the chilliness of the dining room. And to top it all off: the owner rather abruptly refused our payment method. Even though it was good, it's only a 3.

02/01/2026: A very pleasant place; the owner, cook, and waiter (all the same person) are super efficient, the service is very quick and attentive, but what really stands out is the quality of the meal, made with fresh ingredients. The scallops were exceptional.

23/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner. The mille-feuille dessert, more like a 300-layer cake, was very small. There was an error on the bill. A word of advice: check your bill...

23/03/2026: I'm giving 4 stars for the service and the attentive and friendly staff. Thank you to them. The food lacked refinement. Many dishes were missing from the menu. It's very expensive for what it is. The setting is nice, and the restrooms are very clean.

22/03/2026: I'll start with the positives: The place is bright, pleasant, and the setting is very nice. The service is quite good (although the temporary staff hired through temp agencies for these busy days have no idea where the restrooms and kids' club are... 🤦🏻). A big plus is also the children's entertainment, which is really well done—a real bonus for families. On the other hand, the buffet is simply unworthy of the advertised standard. Very little choice, no generosity, and above all, no consistency with what's being sold. Hot items: potatoes, kidney beans, and two pieces of boiled broccoli. Cold items: a vegetarian terrine, basic cooked ham, a lentil salad, a wheat salad, and the oysters, defrosted whelks, and cheese made only from sheep's milk don't compensate for anything... It's far from the level expected for a brunch in a Pullman hotel at this price. And where it becomes problematic is the gap between the promise and the reality. On-site, you can see prominent displays of products such as: “Bigorre Black Ham,” “Normandy Scallops,” etc. (see photo) 👉 Chef Alexandre, avoid highlighting products that are neither on the menu nor the buffet. In the middle of scallop season, not offering them while still displaying them is, at best, misleading, and at worst, dishonest. The same goes for the Bigorre Black Ham: we only had regular cooked ham. This is clearly bordering on false advertising (and I won't even mention the "culinary show" 😂 advertised on the menu). It's all the more unfortunate because this is my profession: I own establishments and I know the products and expected standards perfectly well. Conclusion: a pleasant and family-friendly place, but a very disappointing food offering, far below the advertised level and price.

26/11/2025: We passed through in August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. An authentic inn in a lovely green setting. A huge plus for the evening meal and the truly excellent breakfast!!! It's an address we'll definitely keep in mind.
