Renowned for the quality of her products AND her kindness, you absolutely must go because, what's more, it's less expensive than those Feuillette or Meunier places that lull you to sleep with their prices per kilo... yes, really, go check it out. In short, good, homemade, passionate—let's go!

16/04/2026: There were two of us, a friend and myself, and we were delighted to be going to this restaurant, which we hadn't been to before. I must say, we received a very warm welcome; we were the first customers. We learned that it had been under new ownership for a year. We had heard very positive reviews of the establishment and were unaware of the change. The stone dining room has a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is written on a chalkboard. We chose a starter of Crottin de Chavignol cheese on a bed of mesclun. The contents of the plate were not the same: a plain, shredded salad and a small piece of cheese on a slice of baguette, as hard as a rock! The meat course came with a cold pepper sauce and the same tasteless salad! We decided against ordering dessert… the disappointment was enough! We mentioned this to the restaurant, and I must admit they apologized, saying they wouldn't charge us for our starters and offering us a free coffee. The bill arrived, and my friend paid. I was surprised by the amount, and we left the restaurant. That's when we realized the salads had been charged. We went back to the restaurant to point it out. No problem, the owner refunded the cost of the appetizers. I must admit, despite his apologies, we won't be going back; it was a bad experience. We also noticed that our two neighbors at the next table had similar complaints, saying one of their dishes was cold. It's a shame because the interior and exterior are set back from the street, making it peaceful.

02/04/2026: A wonderful evening in this superb place. In the heart of the city, this is an address not to be missed. A warm welcome, professional and efficient service, and delicious, flavorful cuisine. We simply ordered a burger, and it's fantastic! The deliciousness, the great bread, the homemade fries—we thoroughly enjoyed it. French toast for dessert to finish. Perfect. We'll be back. Plus, the museum parking lot is nearby, so don't hesitate to try this great spot.

07/04/2026: We stopped in because we saw their specials at a nice place. It's $16.90 for a choice of eight meat or salmon dishes, accompanied by salad and all-you-can-eat fries. Everything was delicious, even the dessert and wine. It's a great place to eat something tasty without spending too much money.

04/04/2026: Our first visit was great, but our second was disappointing. We returned to order a children's menu (first for takeout and then to eat in) and they refused without a clear explanation. Furthermore, there's no indication anywhere of a minimum purchase or any other requirements for ordering it. Lack of transparency and poor management. We won't be back.

08/04/2026: Absolutely superb food. From fish and seafood to meat dishes: everything was top quality. The lobster, prepared in all its variations, is especially recommended. A wide selection of delicious wines and beers. Friendly service. What a wonderful evening!

08/05/2026: A very pleasant lunch at this crêperie. The scallop and leek galette was delicious. For my taste, there was a little too much chocolate and not enough lemon in the "Exquise" galette, but it was good. The welcome was very friendly, as was the service. Thank you for the warm welcome extended to our dog, Rusty. We would be delighted to return if we are ever in Cancale again.

12/04/2026: A truly gourmet experience: the starter, main course, and dessert were all exquisitely prepared, clearly the result of a lot of research and hard work—that's what makes it so enjoyable and what you won't find anywhere else. Our taste buds were in heaven. The small dining room was very welcoming, the individual baguettes were delicious, and the white wine by the glass was excellent. We had been before and we came back. We made a special detour on our journey.

18/03/2026: I dined there in a rather unusual setting, as the restaurant had been reserved for a private wine and food pairing evening. Therefore, I can't comment on the regular menu or the usual level of service. However, I can attest to the exemplary professionalism of the waiters and the exceptional quality of the cuisine. I'm not particularly familiar with traditional dishes, so my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt. That being said, the sea bass with its butter sauce was absolutely divine, and I've never eaten such delicious beef in my life. Thank you to the chef for this memorable evening; I can't wait to return.

27/02/2026: A fine dining restaurant, and yes, it was very good and the dishes were well thought out. The setting is upscale but also a bit cold. The seats are a little too far apart. The food was superb.

31/12/2025: We had a fantastic time celebrating New Year's Eve. Impeccable service, no wait at all, and excellent, beautifully presented food. Plus, a great music playlist 🎤 I highly recommend it!

19/04/2026: A truly wonderful experience at Les Petits Plats du Bourbon. The setting is magnificent, the atmosphere refined and elegant. The cuisine is of excellent quality, with sophisticated and perfectly executed dishes. A restaurant to recommend without hesitation in Bourges!

15/04/2026: A good restaurant in a pleasant and unique setting (a former abbey). Good value for money, around €40 per person, including wine and aperitif. The dishes are well prepared, the portions aren't very large, but they're sufficient. The service is efficient.
