In addition, it's interesting to work with this kind of pieces rather than the eternal sirloin or steak which are pieces with less interest that many restaurants do! 21/12/2025: We had the pleasure of discovering L’Almandin through its Market Menu and Vegetarian Menu, and the experience was simply remarkable. On the palate, each dish is a demonstration of precision and sensitivity. The cooking is impeccable, the combinations clear and bold, allowing the ingredients to express themselves without ever masking them. The Market Menu elevates local produce with extreme finesse, where each flavor naturally finds its place. The revelation was the vegetarian menu. Rarely have vegetables been treated with such nobility. A menu conceived, constructed, and executed as a work of art in its own right, not as an alternative. The service, for its part, mirrors the cuisine: precise, elegant, with constant attention without ever being intrusive, offering sound advice and perfect timing. One feels accompanied, listened to, and respected throughout the meal. An unmissable address, which one leaves with the definite desire to return, and a special mention for the excellence and boldness of its vegetarian cuisine.

18/09/2024: A great discovery to make and repeat. We had not booked and were expecting 2 late skiers, yet the team welcomed us with a smile, with all sympathy and with a lot of patience. The savory pancakes that we tasted were delicious accompanied by hot cider, the addition was light. Don't hesitate to reserve a table there (it's better because it's always full).🤩🤩🤩

12/09/2024: My children and I have arrived. We took a table. . A waiter says hello to us and continues to serve around us. After 20 minutes no one served us. A waitress comes to see us and asks us who placed us at this table? (knowing that she had passed in front of us at least 10 times). I explain to him. She told me “we are the ones who place people. It's 6 p.m. we are closing this evening we ask you to leave!!!! » A shame, especially since his colleague was still serving and the terrace was full! We will not advertise to you! I won't come back!

21/01/2026: A wonderful hotel restaurant in Châtenois with a warm, home‑like atmosphere. The impressive collection of teddy bears 🧸 gives the place a unique and charming character. Very friendly staff and a welcoming hostess - you feel genuinely well taken care of. We started with foie gras and toasted bread, paired with a Porto aperitif over ice - excellent. For the main course, I had Poulet au Riesling with Spätzle, perfectly cooked and flavorful, paired with a lovely Pinot Gris. My companion ordered the escalope de veau, also very good. No place for dessert after all 🫣, but the espresso was outstanding - thick, aromatic, rich. The place gets busy, so reservations are recommended - we were lucky to get a table on Sunday. Cozy, authentic Alsatian cuisine and hospitality. Highly recommended😍

Professional and friendly service, recently renovated and pleasant decor, and above all, delicious galettes and crêpes, both savory and sweet. Little to no wait, even when it's busy. Very reasonable prices. Review based on 5 to 10 evenings per year, depending on the year.

17/09/2025: The galettes are good, and so are the crepes. The price is reasonable. However, the waitress isn't friendly, which makes us feel uncomfortable and makes us feel unwelcome. It's a shame!

18/11/2025: Superb performance by Jim Kahr, an exceptional bluesman! I can't say the same for the abominable food served that evening. A disaster sold at exorbitant prices. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I can't believe a real chef served us this horrible concoction, but the prices were exorbitant, and the owner waited for you and forced you to pay before the end of the evening. I've never seen anything like it! Avoid at all costs, and never mind the music!

10/10/2025: Excellent lunch! The dishes are tasty and plentiful. The service was great, the team is really friendly and attentive. Plus, we were lucky enough to be on the terrace with a superb view of the Eiffel Tower! A great discovery right in the Champs Elysées

26/01/2026: Excellent place. The food was excellent. The service was impeccable, the waitresses/waitresses were very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely time. I recommend "Chez Grand-Mère," it's an excellent Lyonnais bouchon.

26/01/2026: Busy and nice looking restaurant. I had brilliant Pinot Noir there. But the food I had was average. Soupe à l'ognion super basic. Coq au vin cooked a long time before. Everything heated up before serving and actually served barely warm.
