10/09/2026: As a regular at Cave Martin, I hadn't been back since the change... The "gueules noires" (black gueules) delighted me and I can't wait to return... the welcome, friendliness, advice and the quality of the food tasted were perfect... a big thank you!

24/08/2026: A lukewarm welcome? The presentation of the dishes is polished, with meticulous attention to detail! The starter consists of a few pieces of "industrial" white pudding (the owner specifies that the skin is removed), along with two halved tomatoes with their skins intact. A small sauce. The main course is a sweetbread terrine... it's actually a sausage meat terrine with a single, 1 cm² piece of sweetbread. It's not the name that's misleading. The beans and chanterelles are good. There's no wine list, only a chalkboard displaying wines by the glass. This restaurant is disappointing, with high prices for such uninspired cuisine in Vouvray. The bread doesn't come with a saucer. It's placed directly on the outdoor table without a tablecloth? This lack of service is unacceptable for a bill of 50 to 60 euros.

03/09/2026: A very nice restaurant; we appreciated the spaciousness and therefore the privacy of dining at each table. The meat was cooked over the fireplace.

01/09/2026: A small but excellent restaurant that also caters to celiacs. We made a reservation about a week in advance, mentioning that one of us has celiac disease and therefore needs to eat gluten-free. They assured us that this wouldn't be a problem and that we should simply mention it again when we arrived. They have a small but regularly changing menu, offering a choice of 4-5 dishes each for the appetizer, main course, and dessert for a three-course meal. Our celiac partner still had a choice of 2 out of 4 appetizers, all 5 main courses, and 3 out of 4 desserts. If there's any doubt, a course can be adapted (e.g., by omitting the topping of various seeds if there's any uncertainty). The meat/fish for the main courses is always freshly prepared over the fire in the wood-burning stove. We always enjoy the food immensely, and it has been an absolute must for us on every vacation for years. This year (2026) is the first time we've had celiac disease on board, and it's been an absolutely positive experience in terms of "eating out" for our celiac daughter.

26/08/2026: There are two reasons to stop in Locminé. Not in order: - to see the guys who have some serious skills. - to stop and eat galettes and crêpes at L'Epi d'Or. Excellent 👌, perfectly crispy and fluffy, made with quality ingredients. There's also an iconic roundabout 👇🏼

24/08/2026: A crêperie where you feel good and eat well: generous galettes and delicious crêpes. Run by two people: well done! The service and smiles are always there. We'll be back.

27/08/2026: We've been to this wonderful little restaurant several times now; it's a real taste of Belgium. Each time the service is top-notch, the staff is perfect, and the food is simply delicious. I highly recommend this welcoming place.

21/09/2026: Good bar/bistro! The service is impeccable with a top-notch waiter, and there's a wide selection of drinks. However, the price/quality ratio is a major drawback. I ordered fries at €9.50 a portion, but the portion was small and the fries were overcooked; it wasn't even enjoyable.

16/09/2026: Very nice, lovely outdoor terrace overlooking Place d'Austerlitz. Tastefully decorated interior. The bartender knows his stuff. I'd come back for the food.

21/09/2026: There was a bit of a wait, given the crowds, but that's to be expected on a Sunday in Croix-Rousse... But the oyster bar was there, serving up excellent Marennes oysters and shrimp. The welcome was friendly, and even with the wait, the whole operation ran like clockwork.

13/10/2026: I've never seen such a varied all-you-can-eat buffet and a chef who goes above and beyond for his customers. We're from Lille, and every time we're in the area, we eat there with friends. Well done, Chef, for your delicious, fresh, and varied cuisine. We hope your restaurant thrives; you truly deserve it.

27/09/2026: An intimate and welcoming spot with a beautiful, authentic Savoyard atmosphere—like a mountain chalet, all in wood. The manager is friendly and cheerful, and the food is excellent. It was truly just what I was looking for to experience the aesthetic and cuisine of Haute-Savoie.

30/07/2026: Tourist trap. Servers were not attentive, took long to serve us, the food’s quality tasted cheaply, the chicken was too overcooked, the restaurant itself was dirty and not a good atmosphere overall. Just because the exterior looks welcoming, it doesn’t mean the service is.

14/09/2026: After waiting 30 minutes for the waiter to take our order, we chose the seafood rice dish, only to be told there would be another 25-minute wait for the rice to cook... The waiter suggested we order an appetizer while we waited! We opted for the half duck breast, which was served in a sauce with small pieces of nectarine and no other accompaniments. A bit stingy for our taste! We left very disappointed and finished our meal at home.

31/08/2026: During our day trip to the Maurienne Valley, visiting from the Tarentaise region, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Despite the late hour, we were able to have lunch. The portions were generous and featured excellent ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The ice cream sundaes were enormous! 😜 The service was quick despite a reduced staff due to the end of the season. The team was very friendly. The complimentary digestif was much appreciated (it's a shame we didn't get to try the owner's homemade génépi liqueur!). We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it.
