13/09/2026: Found on Google, thanks to the initial reviews, I discovered a simple but good restaurant with very generous portions and friendly, attentive service. Even without a reservation, they found me a spot at a high table when someone cancelled their reservation. The waitress immediately offered me a table closer to the ground—truly thoughtful. And to my surprise, as a Parisian, people come in and say hello, and they respond! Yes, friendliness still exists! And the setting is perfectly suited to the location. I highly recommend it; it's practically in the middle of nowhere and well worth the trip. Plus, there's a parking lot right across the street. What more could you ask for?

27/09/2026: After being turned away from Le Bazar in Voiron despite being a party of 15, we called XS at the last minute to see if they could accommodate us. Despite the late hour (9 pm), they managed to find us a table for 15 people, and honestly, thank you so much! We had a wonderful meal, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and really made the most of our evening. A great atmosphere and top-notch service! A special thank you to our waiter, Evan, for his warm welcome, kindness, and excellent service. Thank you to XS for saving our evening! We'll definitely be back.

08/09/2026: My husband and I ate at Gill four days ago. The food was outstanding, top-notch, classic French. The evening before, we had eaten at a two-Michelin-starred restaurant. The food at Gill was even better. They had good wines, and the staff was friendly and very professional. We highly recommend this restaurant; it's a must-visit when in Rouen. Thank you.

12/10/2026: A lovely bar to discover in a warm and welcoming Parisian setting. We were transported back to a glorious past. The beers were excellent, and the owner and two very friendly and attentive young students made us want to stay and explore the beers on the menu. Highly recommended.

18/09/2026: After a magnificent day of hiking under the Pyrenean sun, what a joy to end the evening in this restaurant! We were welcomed with great kindness and warmth. The food was everything we hoped for: a delicious Béarnaise salad and, above all, an absolutely flavorful, generous, and comforting garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew). In every dish, you can taste the expertise, passion, and love of cooking of the hosts. Thank you for this wonderful shared experience and for this gourmet interlude that perfectly concluded our day. We highly recommend this restaurant!

13/08/2026: A hidden gem I hadn't heard of. I came as a family after searching on Google. The terrace was lovely, the staff friendly, and I wasn't very hungry. My starter was just right, with the addition of potatoes. My family ordered the vol-au-vent and gratin, which were excellent. A great find in a verdant setting! It was a bit chilly at 9 pm, so bring a light sweater; it was 19 degrees Celsius, compared to 26 degrees Celsius down below near Colmar.

29/05/2026: My partner and I eat at this restaurant regularly. We were there at lunchtime and once again, we left having had a wonderful meal! The welcome is very friendly, the staff are pleasant and always smiling! The dishes are simple but delicious, served on really pretty tableware and beautifully presented... we enjoy them every time! The set menu during the week is €20 (starter/main course/dessert, wine and coffee included). Several other menus are available and are very affordable considering the quality of the ingredients! Fresh ingredients and regularly changing dishes offer a variety of options! They are very accommodating when possible (food intolerances, etc.).

03/09/2026: The place isn't anything fancy, but the savory galettes and sweet crepes are exceptional, served in an original way with quality ingredients. For this very reason, there isn't a lot of choice (though they are few, but good). It's a family-run place, and the lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. A pleasant surprise.
