Natacha
06/06/2026: I come to Chauffailles three times a year to get my bread, which I love, and especially my favorite fruit tart, which is absolutely incredible. I'm from Mâcon in the 71 region, and no other bakery can compare. Honestly, don't change a thing. I love it! ❤️

L'Amandina
Jardres
09/05/2026: For my first time at your establishment, I think it's superb.
06/05/2026: A fantastic discovery!
The meal was truly delicious. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection, and the green beans perfectly balanced the saltiness of the fries. It had been ages since I'd had real homemade fries: they were excellent, a real treat!
The tiramisu was divine: very light, with a lovely coffee flavor. Normally, when I order it in a restaurant, I'm often disappointed because the coffee flavor isn't strong enough and I find it too heavy. Not this time, though; it had been a long time since I'd tasted one this good. I even hesitated to order more 😅
Not to mention the excellent value for money!
I will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

Homemade dishes, affordable set menus (30 euros for the first course), and impeccable service.
And what a wine list... two volumes (white and red) featuring the very best wines from Alsace and all over France.
We left delighted and certain we'll be back. Many thanks for this wonderful experience!

Auberge du Pont de Rethondes
Rethondes
08/06/2026: A very good experience at this charming restaurant in Rethondes.
We opted for the Lobster menu, which offered dishes that were all very well executed and expertly prepared; it was perfect. The lemon-based dessert was undoubtedly the best lemon meringue tart I've ever tasted. The menu included an interlude with lemon sorbet and lemon cream. I don't usually like alcohol with desserts, and even less so with ice cream, but their cream (La Pulpeuse Citron) was truly very smooth and paired beautifully with the sorbet; you couldn't taste the alcohol at all. A good meal, a lovely setting, and welcoming staff.
07/06/2026: Excellent value for money, pleasant setting. The lobster menu is highly recommended, especially when paired with a bottle of champagne. A great stop before visiting the Château du Plessis-Brion.

Dilia
Belleville, Paris
11/06/2026: It is in the shadow of the monumental Notre-Dame-de-la-Croix church in Ménilmontant, a 19th-century architectural gem perched atop its steep hill, that I arrive at Dilia. While the street's name commemorates a distant battle of the Crimean War, today it is a resounding victory of taste that unfolds here.
Upon entering, I am immersed in the picturesque atmosphere of an authentic Italian inn. Stone walls, patinated beams, and rustic wooden tables transport us to a peaceful Tuscan village where time seems to stand still.
The €28 set lunch menu, with its absolute radicalism, requires a single choice for each course. A high-wire act that demands complete trust in Chef Michele Farnesi, originally from Lucca. To whet the appetite, a Negroni makes its entrance, offering a perfectly executed symphony of bitterness and sweetness.
The only slight hitch in this otherwise perfectly orchestrated meal: the starter arrives at the table with the gusto of an Italian stallion, while the Negroni is still singing its last notes and the wine hasn't even been ordered yet. No matter, the contents of the plate quickly make one forget this slightly cavalier timing. The Roman-style artichoke tortellini are perfectly al dente, bathed in a pork broth with verbena, lemon, and pancetta, so clear and aromatically intense it would make even the best Vietnamese pho in southeast Paris pale in comparison. Topping it all off is a delicate herb, the famous chickweed, or common chickweed, which brings a welcome vegetal, spring-like freshness. No worries, the herb is as mild as its name suggests, and this odd bird of a bird is still standing!
To accompany the main course, I chose a 2023 Prugnolo from the Boscarelli estate, a Rosso di Montepulciano DOC of great distinction. This nectar, where Sangiovese reigns supreme, reveals a brilliant ruby color and a nose brimming with red cherries and violets. Its refined structure and savory tension offer an ideal counterpoint to the richness of the impeccable maccheroni, generously coated in a cortile ragù (a traditional peasant "farmyard" stew combining finesse and character), subtly flavored with savory and crowned with a cloud of Parmesan.
With a unique choice of timing, the restaurant opted for the interlude between the main course and dessert to slip in these unexpected amuse-bouches. A slightly disrupted chronology hardly matters when pleasure is so abundant! In these sumptuous brioche canapés topped with a delicate chicken liver paste, gourmets will recognize an ethereal reinterpretation of the traditional Tuscan crostini neri, a staple of Florentine osterias. The silky texture and rustic depth of the fegato on the golden brioche act as a marvelous savory interlude before the grand leap into the sweet.
The finale achieves the remarkable feat of being both spectacular and poetic. Beneath an immaculate dome of verbena-infused fermented milk, crafted into an almost cloud-like espuma, lie plump cherries and crunchy sesame seeds. A surprising dessert, with a remarkable balance between the milky acidity, the sweetness of the fruit, and the toasted sesame.
As a grand finale, the restaurant offers a handcrafted limoncello flavored with basil. Sporting an intensely luminous, almost green hue, this house digestif sweeps aside all commercially available versions with its fresh, herbaceous, and invigorating character.
A regal conclusion for a final bill of €70. Dilia isn't just a restaurant; it's a journey of immense generosity, a journey of quiet contemplation.
Between this wildly roguish farmyard stew, this vibrant Negroni, and this delightfully baroque service timing, you're practically committing insider trading... or rather, experiencing a transalpine idyll! If a foodie friend asks you where to go for a taste of Tuscany at a friendly price, don't hesitate: tell them to head straight to Dilia!
25/05/2026: Beautiful setting and interesting culinary concepts, with some genuinely refined flavors and creative plating. We also appreciated the staff accommodating our children with a pasta dish, which was a thoughtful gesture.
That said, the overall experience unfortunately fell short of expectations considering the pricing. The 6-course menu at 63 EUR felt difficult to justify given the very small portions and the simplicity of certain dishes. The children’s pasta at 24 EUR also seemed significantly overpriced for what was served.
In addition, the service pace was extremely slow throughout the meal. While we understand that complex dishes require preparation, the plates should either come out at a steadier rhythm or the menu concept be simplified slightly to improve the dining flow.
Overall, there is clear potential and creativity in the kitchen, but the current balance between pricing, portion size, and timing could definitely be improved.
