31/07/2026: Hello. We stopped at this restaurant during our weekend in the area. According to our children, Thomas, 11, and Alexis, 7, from Versailles to Saint-Lary, you are the best restaurant of all.

06/07/2026: We set out to get a salad that looked very tempting, glancing at our neighbors as well, and in the end, my wife and I each ordered a burger: one vegetarian and the other made with real chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and other delicious toppings that delighted our taste buds. Plus, the service was excellent.

19/07/2026: Disappointing! Really expensive for the quality of the food. It's a shame because the place and the service are lovely. Given the number of positive reviews, perhaps we didn't order the right dishes from the menu, or there's been a recent drop in quality. Overall, we were disappointed with the meal: The starter: A small slice of Maroilles cheese tart. Not very flavorful, really just average. €9. The main course: A potato gratin, large chunks of potato thrown into a dish at the last minute with a little cream, bacon bits, and a piece of cheese on top. Not much preparation, not much flavor, not very satisfying. €17. My partner ordered a meat dish which had a bit more flavor. But nothing exceptional. However, the fries were excellent. €18. We decided to give the dessert a chance. We ordered two El Gato pastries: a waffle with feuillantine and ganache. The dessert was incredibly hard, tasteless, and not at all indulgent. €6 €32 for a starter, main course, and dessert. For dishes with little preparation and flavor, that's a bit much. We didn't enjoy our meal here. But we did like the setting.

07/08/2026: Excellent. It was the first restaurant I tried when I arrived in Paris. I've been living here for a month now and I've been five times. The food is superb and the staff is extremely kind and pleasant. I'll go back as often as I can.

05/08/2026: Delicious and refreshing beer!! Happy hour prices are great. The best part? The staff!! Super friendly. Especially one who told us he has French and Spanish ancestry. Highly recommended ❤️❤️

09/07/2026: This was our first stop as we hit Alsace. I've heard the region was famous for its food, so when I had the chance to eat all this, I was very pleasantly surprised. In fact, I was almost a bit spoilt because almost everything else in the Alsace region couldn't beat the quality and balance of the menu here. I travel with adults who tend to be quite fussy with their preferences in terms of diet. Can't be too strong in bold flavours, can't be too sour, can't be too gamey, can't be too fatty. This restaurant however, received no complaints whatsoever. That's a huge compliment in itself. It's a bit more of a modern take on french dining than the typical winstubs of the Alsace region, but I'm happy to dine here again and try everything off of their menu. It's a pity our appetites weren't super big, if not we'd definitely have ordered more food. I personally think this deserves to be on the Michelin guide. Thanks for the meal :)

07/07/2026: Great place, warm welcome, and a lovely little terrace. The dishes are very good and well-portioned. I recommend it. However, the prices of drinks, especially juices, are outrageous: €6.50 for tomato juice and €6 for grapefruit juice! And no drinks menu was provided so you could know the prices beforehand!

07/08/2026: While strolling along the St. Jean promenade with my partner, we were drawn to this charming restaurant. After checking for available seats, we asked to order a table for two without a reservation. (It's worth noting that we weren't arriving at the last minute and there was space on the terrace). After a quick look around, the person managing the dining room seated us on the small terrace opposite the restaurant, where they seat people who come for drinks. We found ourselves right in the middle of it, which was rather awkward. We noticed that the two people behind us, who looked more presentable, were seated on the terrace (in the restaurant) at a table without a reservation. Perhaps it was a misinterpretation on our part, but we really got the impression that our seating was deliberately chosen so as not to stand out on their lovely restaurant terrace. If you're planning to eat here and you have tattoos, avoid this place or cover them up!

17/07/2026: A fantastic experience! My partner and I came here together. The little village is very pretty, the setting is magnificent. The inn's interior is like stepping back into medieval times. 15/07/2026: Delicious food and lovely staff! We chose Vallicella as our caterer for our medieval wedding and enjoyed a truly delicious meal. Everyone was charmed by the menu: fresh, flavorful, and delicious ingredients! Régis worked with us for several weeks, answering all our questions and ensuring our wedding meal was a complete success, which it was. Attentive, caring, and professional! 18/07/2026: Overall, a poor experience. Let's not dwell on the prices, which are what they are. The wait time, for a fairly empty restaurant, was 45 minutes. For two rather simple crepes. This is absolutely unacceptable. The crepes themselves were passable in taste, but considering the wait and the price, they were particularly disappointing. We should note the presence of numerous dogs on the terrace and inside the restaurant, so it's best avoided by those with allergies.

02/06/2026: Another great hotel visited on a motorbike holiday. Rooms clean and tidy and the food was excellent. Bar staff spoke fluent English. The Air Conditioning was excellent too

31/05/2026: The hotel is very good, especially considering we're in a very small town. The water museum is a bonus. The restaurant has a limited menu, but the food is delicious. The service is exceptional. I'm grateful to the two young women who made an effort to speak Spanish and made our dinner very enjoyable. They alone deserve the highest rating.

03/04/2026: A typical, rustic bar with food. Unfortunately, my rump steak was extremely fatty and impossible to chew; they should change their meat supplier. Therefore, only 2 stars.
