08/12/2025: I say yes. So, open on Sundays. Thank you. Very professional. They didn't hesitate to set a place setting for two to share the foie gras. Thank you. The foie gras was very good, and the little brioche was excellent. Other restaurants don't even offer a second place setting, so you have to ask and they bring you a fork and a knife, but the plate shouldn't be too decorated... The bread basket was immediately refilled, no need to ask. For dessert, nothing is missing: spoon, fork, knife. Well done. Yes, it's very important; it has to be as good as at home. I give it 10/10. We had the kidneys, which were good. Dessert: profiteroles. You can have one, two, or three, it's up to you. I really have no negative comments. See you soon.

05/12/2025: A wonderful discovery at L’Œil de Bœuf. The meats are expertly prepared, the portions generous, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The service is pleasant, even if occasionally a little slow. A reliable restaurant in Épernay that I wholeheartedly recommend.

15/01/2026: A friendly place with super friendly staff. A great atmosphere. Open 365 days a year, tobacco shop, newspapers, bar and parcel pickup point. I highly recommend it.

11/11/2025: What a shame… it looked pretty good… but expensive… expect to pay €28 for a raclette for a 4-year-old… Total €210 for 2 adults and 3 children aged 4 to 9… And then stomach aches all night… I'm gutted… Because the atmosphere was nice and the staff were welcoming…

28/11/2025: It's hard to believe the positive reviews for this restaurant… Some people have made the same observation as us but are "drowned out" by the rave reviews (???). I should have read all the reviews before going to La Rainette. Only one dish out of ten on the menu is available, and when you resign yourself to accepting what's left, you're told there are only three left… When we were astonished, the response was, "We're changing the menu, so we have to finish what we have"… How reassuring… The salmon arrived half-raw and with a taste typical of something that had been in a freezer for a long time, a dessert was advertised with caramel but had no caramel, a colleague got sick from a burger… After being told "no" to everything we said, we gave up on expressing ourselves, especially since the owner, with his ladybug glasses 🤨, shouts to anyone who will listen, "When they're eating, at least they keep their mouths shut." It's supposed to be a joke, but he's the only one who finds it funny. Of course, he didn't ask us if everything was alright. This restaurant may have been good once, but it clearly isn't anymore.

19/12/2025: There were three of us at the table, two of whom were foreigners who only spoke English. When I arrived, my friends explained that the waiter had refused to give them bread, claiming there wasn't any. Surprising for a restaurant… When I asked again, I was finally told that yes, of course there was bread, but it had taken 15 minutes for it to arrive. One of my friends was pregnant, so she asked the waiter for advice on what she could order. There was no special attention, no real help. Then, the wait was interminable: between one and one and a half hours to receive our food. We ate extremely late. The quality of the food was clearly not up to par, neither for the wait nor the price. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the waiter blamed everything on the kitchen, refusing to acknowledge any responsibility for the service, claiming that the restaurant was full. The worst part was the final act: as we were finishing our meals, the waiter literally threw a pat of butter onto the table, like the kind usually served with bread. A shocking, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate gesture. It's worth noting that the next table, occupied by two French couples, was treated in exactly the same way. They left at the same time as us, finding the situation and the waiter's explanation equally unacceptable. A truly appalling experience, nonexistent customer service, and a contemptuous attitude. I absolutely do not recommend it.

The cuisine was refined, very tasty, with beautiful presentations and fresh produce. We celebrated our wedding reception on Saturday, June 21, 2025; everything was perfect. The decor was magnificent, their constant attention, and their generosity. All our guests were delighted and greatly appreciated being able to interact with them. We highly recommend 🫶🏼🤩. A huge thank you again for this beautiful day, which meant so much to us and for which you brought together all the ingredients 🙏🙏🙏🙏.
