14/07/2026: We ate at L'Arbre Vert yesterday during our visit to Lembach. Excellent value for money. I chose the duck à l'orange with homemade croquettes. Delicious! Very good "homemade" cuisine. Friendly service.

11/06/2026: I was recently invited to a family meal at this restaurant and frankly, it was a wonderful discovery! The meals are delicious and generous, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is truly excellent. We'll definitely be back!

26/07/2026: The setting is vintage, the welcome friendly, the portions generous... but not very tasty. On the day of our visit, the calf's head was bland and limp, the sautéed potatoes were too often reheated, and the meat in the three cordon bleu was of poor quality.

27/07/2026: Everything was perfect 3 years ago.... We returned this Sunday and were a little disappointed by the slow service, no butter or bread to eat with the oysters, and we had to ask for mayonnaise (which wasn't spicy enough for my taste) for the seafood platter. The melon soup for the daily special was replaced with a scoop of strawberry ice cream in the fruit salad without any explanation... What a shame...

05/08/2026: While on holiday in the area, we had lunch yesterday at this restaurant during our visit to Tarascon. We had a wonderful time. Everything was truly perfect. The owners are so kind and welcoming, which immediately creates a very warm atmosphere during the meal. The food is delicious, fresh, and authentic, and the value for money is undeniable. We will definitely return on our next trip, as this restaurant was a great find for our two sons and ourselves.

26/05/2026: Stopped at Black Horse during a motorcycle trip through France — six of us, hungry and looking for a proper lunch. We were not disappointed. We all went for the aubergine with rice and minced meat, and it was a genuinely surprising dish: deep, layered flavours, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. Not the kind of thing you expect to stumble upon mid-ride, which made it all the better. The terrace in the shade was the perfect spot to cool down, take off the gear, and enjoy a relaxed meal together. Friendly atmosphere, no fuss, just good food and a nice setting. Highly recommended if you’re passing through. We’ll be back.
