The chef clearly prioritizes flavor and ingredient quality, bringing freshness and subtle innovation to traditional dishes without overcomplicating them or losing the comforting, home-style feeling you expect from a true cottage-style restaurant. The dining rooms are intimate without feeling cramped, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. My only small wish would be a broader selection of wine by the glass, though I understand how challenging that can be for a smaller restaurant without creating waste. A carafe or “half bottle” option could be a nice middle ground, but this is a minor and very personal note. Overall, Le Cottage is our favorite restaurant in the area. It is consistently delicious, cozy, and exactly the kind of place you want to return to again and again. ⸻ French Le Cottage is a charming address that offers classic French cuisine, executed with great care and precision. It's a sure bet, always delicious, cozy, and a place we want to return to regularly.

15/02/2026: If you're a fan of galettes, this is a must-visit for a traditional Breton specialty. The rustic decor is lovely and the atmosphere is cozy. We were a little cramped on the ground floor, but once seated, we forgot all about it. The menu is varied and the service is efficient. A touch of friendliness when ordering would have been perfect. We recommend it!

15/03/2026: Superb food! The servers were genuinely friendly and always smiling, a welcome change from some restaurants. You eat in a simple setting, which I appreciate, with a very reasonable level of calm. I highly recommend it. We had a meal with friends: seafood sauerkraut. My very picky friend told me that for the second time in years he'd been happy with his meal. I had the mussels and chorizo, and they were equally pleased. My wife enjoyed the galette with scallops, and to finish, the mussels with Roquefort cheese were delicious. I'll be back after all these years.

22/03/2026: I ordered their new cheddar lover burger. I was promised a burger dipped in cheddar, but in reality, I received a burger with almost no cheddar. Having asked for it medium-rare, I received a well-done steak. We also ordered chorizo ​​rice, which, judging by the quality of the overcooked rice, seemed to have been forgotten under the heat lamp. We also ordered a steakhouse salad; we were supposed to get a soft-boiled egg, but it was hard-boiled, and there wasn't enough salad for the price. Afterwards, we ordered a "café gourmand," which resulted in a cold, burnt, industrial-looking crème brûlée; a tiramisu with virtually no mascarpone cream; a crumble that was barely hanging on in its container with three crumbled biscuits—it wasn't a crumble at all, but rather an apple salad with a few biscuit pieces on top; an okay chocolate mousse; and another dessert we didn't recognize, but the cream was poorly executed and prominent. We also ordered a rocket ice cream and the game we had to ask for because it was forgotten. Despite the service and atmosphere, which could be improved, we were still quite full after our visit. I wanted to commend Illuna for her excellent service. The photos below accurately represent the actual dish and the one we expected.

12/03/2026: There were two of us. The meal was impeccable and plentiful. The sirloin steak was very tender and the fries were perfectly cooked. The galette was also generous. The staff was very attentive and responsive despite the restaurant being full. It's rare to see such a well-organized team.
